What do the AI Know?

I have heard from people on occasion that AI can see through the grass where we can't? I want to find out if it's true ?

Also if it is True, When we place bushes with Different addons is there a way or a code that we could add to an init line if bushes even have an init line that the ai couldn't see through it?

I just want to know what the AI can and can't do and do everything possible to keep it as real as possible. I also want to stop hiding in grass if they don't see it.

Depends on the ai setting. In super ai mode they have Superman abilites like x-ray vision or superhearing ( beyond 100m ). They even shoot faster than Lucky Luke. With the next patch they will get a Chuck Norris upgrade. You don't even have to bother joining the mission, they will roundhousekick you out before you can even join ;)

Come on doesn't anyone know? I mean if the AI can see through the grass and bushes why use them in CO-OP missions? Shave the grass and add more wrecks for cover, In multiplayer yeah the grass and trees are great realism but strictly for CO-OP. Superman abilities aren't doing it for me in terms of having an idea of whats real. Though I do appreciate that you answered me Enforcer.

No, the AI is not able to see through vegetation or bushes.

And no, SuperAi does not do anything Enforcer said, at least, I have never experienced such behaviour.

I would be interested to set that up with a silencer and 100 - 200 yard spreads from the AI

The trick is what you see on the edges of your screen. As long as a player of the opposite side is not recognized as the enemy the circle ( from the so called situation awareness ) is white ( neutral ). If it is a friendly it's most likely green when you spot him. If it's not friendly and didn't shoot yet it might be white, after shooting it turns red ( enemy ). The same applies to AI, you have either a white, green or red aura around you that triggers how AI is behaiving towards you. Once they spotted you it is very hard to make them disengage. If you are spotted again lets say after 30 minutes if you survive that long becaus the AI is really persistent if they spot you you are automaicly recognied as an enemy. Through most if not every obstacle.

Shooting AI with silencers only makes them take longer to spot you if you are using subsonic rounds. They will spot you eventually with the trick mentioned above, they only need LOS once and every AI of the squad/team/whatever know where you are. Watch how tanks behave when they have spotted you and you are hiding behind cover - turret and commander mg movement tells you how it works. It more like a person is after you than a tank.
