For 200 a GTX470 or 475 would be lovely dont know anything about ATI. But make sure you have around 650W in your system as it is needed for most faster cards! Also what type of box do you have? Again its an old pc and your box might be to small for some of the new GPU's as there MASSIVE. As for what GPU for what price try Toms Hardware http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/charts/graphics-cards,1.html They have lots of bench tests comparing all GPU's in particular price ranges. Personally I would go either an ATI HD5850 or an Nvidia GTX470, there both pretty much as good as each other but ATI does offer more bang for you buck so to speak. I currently run an ATI 5850 in my i7 and an Nvidia GTX 460 in my C2d, there both pretty much the same obviously I get better performance in the i7 cause of the cpu but other than that honestly there pretty much on par except ATI is currently cheaper.
