Zozio 10 Posted November 11, 2010 Not sure if it's a bug or a configuration issue ... I want to use my whell in Arma 2 I have setup controls to turn left, right and to go forward and back All is quite fine (a little bit to drive, lot of zigzag) but when I move forward a little and stop to accelerate, my car stop and then go back (I am on a plate land) I have to accelerate a little to stay at the same location In the past, I have already succeed in the past to cancel this trouble but I can' find anymore the way to do it (may be editing a file, I don't remember)
no use for a name 0 Posted November 11, 2010 Sounds like you need to adjust the deadzone and/or calibration for your Z axis (accelerate/brake/reverse) What brand of wheel is it? (CH, Saitek, MicroSoft, etc.)?
Zozio 10 Posted November 12, 2010 I have a Logitech Formula Force EX I ever tried to put a deadzone on "accelerate" and "break" in my Logitech profiler but it doesn't solve the problem. In Arma 2, I think I ever solved the problem but don't remember how  In Arma 2 OA, it never worked. Yesterday, in Arma 2, I was doing tests to try to solve the problem in OA but at final, I broke it in Arma2.$ In Options > Controls > Controler > Logitech Formula Force EX USB > Customize, it looked as in OA but after I clicked on Default, the problem appeared back in Arma 2 Not sure, but may be I edited my <username>.ArmA2Profile I will try to search something about deadzone and this file ---------- Post added at 12:52 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:19 AM ---------- I have done additionnal tests ... If I create a new profile and only configure Right, Left, Forward, Back, it works fine. As soon as I go in "Controler > <My wheel> > Customize" and change something (ex : increase Stick X Axis) and confirm (OK) and then come back and do Default, the problem occurs. ---------- Post added at 02:16 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:52 PM ---------- I have found a workaround : I have edited my <user>.Arma2Profile file removing the class Joystick2 section that corresponded to my wheel controler Then, I start Arma2 and after reconfigure my four directions (wheel assignments disappeared), it works fine. But I think there is a bug with this Default button in Controler > Customize
