Miles 0 Posted May 11, 2002 hes right you know, no-ones touched it anyway the ac130 should be able to take off from the runways-a fully loaded c130h can take off in 1093 metres, and the ac130 will be far from fully loaded, so you should be fine
Paladin 1 Posted May 11, 2002 Sorry KTottE. I guess I took it the wrong way. No hard feelings against ya mate. Just a misunderstanding.
arkadeyevich 0 Posted May 12, 2002 Instead of having to switch weapons all the time, would it be possible to let a single trigger pull fire a good burst of 20mm, some 40mm and a 105mm shell?
red oct 2 Posted May 12, 2002 i'd really just be happy w/ a C-130. you could make one of the crew open the rear ramp during flight, and the paratroopers will dive out.

The hercules was too much of a chinook for me. i've finished modelling the outside, the proppellers are working, and the 30mm cannon is working, but the bomb shells still need work, and of course, the cockpit. It'll be a hell of a challenge for me to make it to a suitable size, but i'll get there with a little work. If the size matter is an everlasting problem, then i'll design the plane fo inside views and make the cockpit look increadible. Stage 1 and 2 were probably like this: But don't get too excited, the plane need A LOT of work. <span id='postcolor'> ARG! Not this again. i can't see ANYONES pics. No red X's. It all just looks like normal Text! "it'll look like this: Do you like it"
Airdude2 0 Posted May 12, 2002 well i guess now we have to figure out wether to balance it with the russian IL-76 MEDIUM-RANGE TRANSPORT AIRCRAFT or the AN-124 CONDOR LONG RANGE HEAVY TRANSPORT AIRCRAFT
EveronVetsAgainstTheWar 1 Posted May 12, 2002 If you're gonna "drastically reduce" the specs of the AC-130, why bother making it at all? Why not a smaller airplane? Doesn't make much sense to me. Anyways I think an AC-130 would be rad because my dad was commander of the 16th SOS which is Spectres.
KTottE 0 Posted May 12, 2002 @Swedish Man: Ingen fara pĺ taket =) Vi svenskar borde hĺlla ihop ute i vida världen... Anyway, I think I will have to agree with residuum. If OFP can't handle the magnitude of the vehicles, I think we're better off without them.
