andersson 285 Posted October 4, 2010 I like to read about things like that, but I'm not educated enough to give some valid input :) Thank you for the link though!

Richey79 10 Posted October 4, 2010 (edited) Pretty cool. Since it's only an 'optical illusion', I wonder whether it is a step closer to someone being able to verify Hawking's theory that time effectively slows down closer to the gravitational pull of the singularity http://www.geekosystem.com/stephen-hawking-how-to-build-a-time-machine/. I'm guessing probably not, if this is only an optical phenomenon, even if it is able to produce 'Hawking radiation'. The suggestion of combining a black and white hole sounds a lot like Portal. jeza 5416 Posted October 14, 2010 To help those who are not sure about the quantom theroy and other cosmos stuff i suggest your search for Michio Kaku, he is a truly wonderful scientist and breaks it down for you. Nice post matey

Richey79 10 Posted October 16, 2010 Nice link, 4 IN 1, I'm a big fan of Brian Cox's TV stuff and missed that when it was on. Amazing that Einstein came up with such ideas about the nature of time and space, working when he was. Must have seemed like total fantasy to most people. He had a great way with words, too. "When you sit with a nice girl for two hours, it seems like two minutes. When you sit on a hot stove for two minutes, it seems like two hours - that's relativity."
