guy123 10 Posted September 10, 2010 Hey everyone I'm working in INV44, at the moment doing some bugfixing. I've run into this bug and can't for the life of me figure it out. Basically, the tank in question drives around fine. However, when I fire the main weapon it sinks about half a foot into the ground. Then a second or two later, jumps out, sometimes getting air! Its very annoying and turns an atmospheric fight into a jokey clown tank fight. lol. Any ideas? I've tried moving the land contact points a little lower, but still nothing. One thing I've noted, is that the suspension looks like its being pushed in some strange angles all the time. e.g. The wheels are all level in O2, but in the game the rear two are raised about half a foot higher than the front four. Strange.. Any ideas?
PuFu 4600 Posted September 10, 2010 i guess it is a weight issue. Your tank is probably too light, or too heavy. Also, you need to take into account the weight distribution, and the center of gravity.
guy123 10 Posted September 10, 2010 Hey Pufu, thanks for a quick and accurate response. It was indeed a weight issue, the tank was too light. I changed that up and hey presto, works fine. Thanks champ!
