Excellent, what actually did you figure out or do, so others with the same issue can solve their problem?

Actually it had nothing to do with gamespy. Dumb mistake - it was my firewall. I didn't suspect it was my firewall before because I had given A2/OA permission after I installed BAF...I don't know why it's still not working with my firewall on, but oh well, at least I know the problem now!

I have the same problem, and this is what my .rpt file says (I bought the game from Gamersgate, digital download, Arma2+OA+BAF):

seems like some missing files here, this is AFTER I reinstalled the game twice.:confused:

Well my problem persists, and as you can see I miss some files in the BAF DLC, so everytime I try to connect to a server I get kicked/session lost/banned etc.

No problems with my firewall/Antivirus.

Have tried to redownload both the 1.54 patch and the BAF DLC twice and reinstalled, but I still get this error when installing the DLC.

Windows firewall is disabled, but I use AVira Antivirus software, have tried to disable it too but no sucess so far.

Windows Vista 64.

I do however use a router a Linksys, but I didn´t have any problems when I played arma2 or Operation arrowhead online, has anything changed in BAF since then?

BAF should not be reason you don't see servers that's related to engine update (1.54) if at all ...

also i suggest you enable your windows firewall back or you using Avira one ?

that might be it

you need to approve binary change (arma2oa.exe was updated)
