I would appreciate the help than you I suggest you tell your buddies to get Arma2 and Arrowhead if anything Combined Ops for both...It'll be better in the long run Welcome! Mod= user made content or even BAF DLC. Includes everything..Gameplay changes,units,vehicles,maps/islands. There's alot around;) and keeps the game interesting and different. You should only need the latest patch which you should be able to download from the main ArmA2 website.
jerzeychino 10 Posted September 3, 2010 Where do get the mods from?

Psycho78 10 Posted September 3, 2010 (edited) You won't be able to effectively play as a soldier with a XB360 controller, mouselook/aim is far superior. Especially if you ever play multiplayer. But it should be good for driving and flying. This should be a link to the ARMA2 manual. Lots of keyboard commands: http://store.steampowered.com/manual/33900/ This is the mission name standard for downloaded missions: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?t=82816 Maybe somebody can post the link to the document that tells you how to use modfolders like @slx. Also note there is a Noob thread higher up that will answer a lot of basic questions. Arma2 is complex but rewarding, especially if you're looking for a detailed realistic sim (with a few bugs and rough edges.) dale0404 5 Posted September 4, 2010 Arma2 is complex but rewarding, especially if you're looking for a detailed realistic sim (with a few bugs and rough edges.) True, but the edges are getting smoother and the bugs are not as scary!
