Fox '09 14 Posted September 3, 2010 the problem is when I do that , it does not bend at the elbow . maybe i should just downscale the pads and assign to what you said ? ---------- Post added at 03:46 AM ---------- Previous post was at 03:33 AM ---------- :( that didnt work
STALKERGB 6 Posted September 3, 2010 I'd suggest that the pads are too long, I don't have any experience of US kit but I'd imagine that they end above the elbow unlike your current ones which come down over the elbow. Using the Left and Right shoulder selections has a tendency to "pull" the points upwards, you would probably only need the top parts defined as this. As you can see the top is weighted about 60% with very low weighting on the points below. The closer to blue, the less the strength off the weighting. XXXShoulder XXXArm XXXArmRoll You'll need to use the weighting brush in O2 to do this, should be under "Edit" then at the bottom of the list will be "Edit Modes". Select "paint vertices" to get the brush up, you can then select the strength of the brush as well as the size etc.
Fox '09 14 Posted September 3, 2010 thanks stalker. I actually think it is too big , ill scale it down and then if there are any remaining issues ill try 'weighting' it
