kylania 568 Posted September 1, 2010 Wheel is enough, but after that I just get hunted down and killed. :( First time i tried it a stray bullet hit my arm and I couldn't aim, it was over at that point, I was worthless.
nettrucker 144 Posted September 1, 2010 (edited) You gotta move quickly and run. climb that small hill and move to your indicated location. You have high grounds and an elevated fire postion there. Order your men to hold fire first. Prevent the launch by shooting the front tires of the scud. Order your men in "line" formation and keep them prone. Pick up targets and communicate those to your men. And order your men to target and open fire. You are the teamleader so concentrate more on commanding your team rather than shooting yourself. They gonna take out the enemy. Hope that helps. kind regards Edited September 1, 2010 by nettrucker

There is a random patrol group in this mission. The first time I played it they arrived in a jeep in the distance, no problems taking them out. I played it again and had a patrol attack me from behind seemingly out of nowhere. All I heard was "man, 6 o'clock" then BLAM!.
WhoCares 0 Posted September 2, 2010 That's why I ordered 4 (non-sniper) to stay a bit behind covering our backs while I assigned 2 and 3 about 20-50m left and right of me. I got also hit early and was almost unable to aim anymore, but it was enough to assign targets to the other snipers and as a team we managed to clear the area (but at some point lost 2). Eventually we got flanked, but 4 and a frag of mine solved that as well.

Line formation, assigning initial targets and once the scud was down directing fire was a great plan. Worked wonders with the mission. I lucked out in timing things just right so I was able to call targets on the roaming patrol before getting into place so they were dropped just after I took out the scud's tire. After that it was a turkey shoot. Thanks again for the advice nettrucker! :)
avengerzx 10 Posted December 5, 2010 You have to select your men to engage targets in order for them to shoot for you By default is [F2] > [ 2] > Men 2 o'clock You can use the [ -] and [ =] keys to speed up your time by 2x or 4x
