new arty system has RUINED R3F

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, Im a bit bummed out as the new arty system has wrecked any ones arty scripts. especially the R3F arty scripts. It says "no existing range table for this ammunition, no fire solution found." So im guessing all the ranges are changed in BIS' latest patch. TY BIS for the heads up on that one. I dont remember anyone ever asking the arty to be changed.

Sorry to learn about R3F, but the new system did not wreck all artillery scripts - my mod and functions still work and passed my quality assurance tests just fine. Checked the new module and do not see anything that alters the common functions and other parts of the published API. No doubt the data or format in the ballistics tables changed, but that part was never meant to be tinkered with.

LOL they don't need to ask!

I haven found problems as yet. Will look into it however.

I checked the modules but didn't see changes to ARTY module solution tables. modules.pbo wasn't updated in the 1.54 patch. Min and max range haven't changed for MLRS ARTY ammo.

I did raise an issue here for inconsistent ranges between the ARTY module MLRS and the '1.54 engine artillery' MLRS.

Madbull has confirmed that there is a problem with the firing tables and he will fix when he gets a chance.
