Aliusexalio 10 Posted August 25, 2010 We are a group of long time gamers that have decided to start an official clan in Arma 2, however we cannot find any multiplayer ladders to sign up for with our merry band of warriors.. :( All of the links we found through google/forums are old & obsolete... We just rented our own dedicated server and are currently configuring it. Hoping to get our clan ready to go by next week at the latest, cant wait to get into some coordinated team action. Taxman 10 Posted August 25, 2010 We dont play Coop buddy, all PvP but there are many teams/clans that do..... if you fancy a couple of PvP games let us know via the site, or our clan site at www.sbs-clan.co.uk or just pop on to our server "filter" SBS in the host name..... we Dont allow addons on our server, plain Vanilla and no custom files.... :) We play Tues/Thurs and Sundays, although the coming sunday will be very quiet due to Bank Holiday in the UK... do you have a link for your own site ? Aliusexalio 10 Posted August 25, 2010 Cool cool, we haven't got a website yet for Arma II, to give you some background, we are a tightknit group of players that have been playing Eve-Online together for 4+ years. A game that basically forces you to work together in extremely organized fashion and can be considered as a second job by some... Not working together can cause you to lose years (IRL) of work. When Eve gave us lemmons we played other games as a group and as of late we have collectively found Arma II, the game that is not just a shooter but promotes teamplay and organization. Instead of being just an Eve related clan (or corporation as we call it in Eve) we have decided to start a gaming clan, with website, forums and dedicated servers for the games that have the most players within our group. ArmaII is our first game as a clan outside Eve and we have just rented a server on art of war and in the progress of battling their customer support to get the damned thing to work.. On top of that we have upgraded our ts 2 to ts 3 and are discussing the making of a website for our clan with forums. So yeah.. very long story short, you should see more of us and we are looking for a lot of fun in Arma II. Once we get our act sorted we will definitly be in touch. Taxman 10 Posted August 25, 2010 Nice one matey,,, one of our members is an EVE online player,,, good luck with the setting up, a great source of info is at your fingertips, just ask in this forum and im sure someone will have the answers to any of your questions. One very good server to check out is the BASECAMP server, they play a mode called Advance and Secure very popular on the Pvp front, Large maps, you would have to mix it up with other teams but its a good place to learn.......
