akio 10 Posted August 24, 2010 Hello I'd like to change the conditions of my map, through my file "*. cpp". Rain, thunder, wind, ... Is this possible? If yes, how? Should I use other files? If yes, what and how to use it? Thank you for your answers. Sorry for my English, I use a translator, and it makes literary translation.
HeliJunkie 11 Posted August 24, 2010 (edited) Map or Mission ? If you mean mission, you must only change the intel data in the mission editor. See : Arma Mission Editor on Wiki Edited August 24, 2010 by HeliJunkie
akio 10 Posted August 24, 2010 Map. It is almost finished. I miss the parameters "weather"
akio 10 Posted August 24, 2010 Here's what I managed to do in the file "config.cpp" (fog): startWeather = 0.9; startFog = 0.9; forecastWeather = 0.9; forecastFog = 0.9; But I'd like to have rain, and I do not know how to adjust settings. What should I mark as well? Also, I'd say weather change: - Fog at sunrise. - Sunny in the morning. - Overcast, afternoon. - Storm the evening. - Clear skies at night. HeliJunkie 11 Posted August 25, 2010 As far as I know: rain comes randomly if weather > 0.8. And you can not turn in on/off. If this are map parameters, why don't you try to post your question in the subforum "Map edition (Visitor)". There it will maybe read by some other map editor, who knows the answer. This subform (configs and scripting) is for addons.
akio 10 Posted August 25, 2010 I placed my question here because this forum deals with the issue of CPC's files, SQS 'SQF's.
[frl]myke 14 Posted August 30, 2010 You have received help by HeliJunkie pointing you to the correct forum for your problem. As he already said, this here is for addons and maps/islands aren't addons by ArmA meanings.
