Bombed out urban environments

I was wondering if such a map even existed. I want some good bombed out city environments. Imagine a city maybe 6-9 times bigger and more expansive than LaTrinite on malden, but made up of the shelled out\bombed out buildings found on kolgujev. This is what i'm looking for.

You can get the editor addon that enables all buildings/objects to be placed on the map. Downside is that you can't expand the town in means of roads and such, so you'll have to place the buildings where they won't overlay trees and such.

you'll have to find a good flat spot, maybe in the area south of the airport. using gunslinger's addon (you can find it at http://www.ofpec.com ) you can make a bombed out town complete with roads and everything if you have the patience. only downside is the AI won't recognize the roads and just drive wherever they want

remind me, cause i dont want to jeoprodize my OFP the way it is. Is gunslingers addon just a pbo file, or do i install it like an app?

I don't know if this happened to anyone else, but this addon messed with my HUD display in vehicles, and when I tried to uninstall it OFP wouldn't run at all (had to reinstall).

Gunslinger is just one pbo-file. Although you install it with exe-file but it only copies the pbo-file to your addons folder. I use Gunslinger only when I want to play missions that requires it otherwise I just remove the pbo-file from my addons folder.

i think there's a fix for that either at http://www.operationflashpoint.cz or http://www.ofpec.com

Ive mirrored the patch to my site.

That will fix the HUD display bug among other things, just put that .pbo file in ya addon dir as well.

I agree with Aculaud. A bombed out city would be awsome for sniping and for combat.

Imagine its raining in a bombed out city. Your holding your M21, inside a bombed out church steeple, ready to fire when the time is right. Then, a high ranking Russian officer appears. You've got him in your sights and he doesnt suspect a thing.

I think It ould be great for gameplay. Someone who knows how to make maps should get right on it.

i think ther is a bombed out city at the forums of the ofpec, its called 'enemy at the gates prefab'
