maturin 12 Posted August 4, 2010 What does that have to do with the CDF? Read the thread and its off-topicness. A single MEU on a peacekeeping mission doesn't have the manpower or (more importantly) support infrastructure to defeat 12,000 men and occupy the country without the CDF any more than 100 special forces could have defeated the Taliban without the help of the Northern Alliance. That guy 10 Posted August 4, 2010 (edited) if you remember also, alot of the CHDKZ are "not just farmers", but are CDF deserters. alot are professional soldiers. just remember the opening brief of harvest red the MEU is there to tip the balance of power in favor of the CDF, not win the war on its own. if things continued to be bad, more marine and army units would probably be moved in until the situation can be brought under control BUT we know what actually happened, depending on the ending you get :p Edited August 4, 2010 by That guy

THEBLITZ6794 10 Posted August 5, 2010 the 1450 man ground team of an MEU wouldnt be able to cover the front line against 12k men...
Takko 10 Posted August 5, 2010 Until near the end was just team razor together with the Guerillia forces. Before I don't think a lot of soldiers were there. And seriously? Why do you always compare batallions etc. with the correspondenting number? I am for one happy that that is not realistic.
