What is the proper way to use estimatedtimeleft?

Can someone tell me where this command should be used, i.e. description.ext or in a script?

All commands documented in official scripting reference are scripting commands and can be used in script or in activation field. Did you check any official mission using this feature? Most of them were updated to use it in last upgrade.

My apologies, I was spelling it wrong in my script. I had put in EstimateTimeLeft instead of EstimatedTimeLeft. Now I know why I got the error.

I had thought I was putting it in wrong somehow.

Now in my init.sqs I put:

EstimatedTimeLeft Param1

And it works perfectly. Sorry for wasting your time.
