dayglow 2 Posted July 24, 2010 Just got an Eyefinity setup and trying to get Arma2 to work with it. Setting up the rez is no problem, but the only triple screen aspect ratio is 12:3 (3 4:3 monitors). As my monitors are 16:9 the proper aspect ratio I need is 16:3. Right now when setup ArmA is a little stretched. How can I set a custom aspect ratio?
scruffy 22 Posted July 25, 2010 Look for your "Username.ArmA2OAProfile" file, on Win7/Vista it should be in "My Documents\Arma 2" or "My Documents\Arma 2 other profiles" if you changed your ingame username. Somewhere in there you'll find fovTop=XXX; and fovLeft=YYY; Standard for 16:9 should be fovtop=0.75 and fovleft=1.33333, so multiply the fovleft by 3 for three monitors and you get fovtop=0.75 and fovleft=4 for your 48:9/16:3 setup. After that you have the option "Custom" available and chosen in the video settings. Check the standard values by choosing 16:9 ingame first and see if what I wrote is right ;)
dayglow 2 Posted July 25, 2010 I've tried that. The 'custom' option doesn't show up. When I read about it, it was from a few versions ago and it may have been removed by the devs for whatever reason.
virtualvikingx 19 Posted April 4, 2011 Is this issue resolved - or do anybody have a workaround?
liquidpinky 11 Posted April 4, 2011 Just leave it on auto and make sure your triple resolution is selected above, once you have done the fov in the cfg.
