CaptainBravo 0 Posted December 8, 2009 (edited) Hey everyone, I have a new mission I would like to share. It is a coop mission with up to 15 playable characters. It is recommended to have at least 3 human players to lead the 3 seals fire teams (can be played in SP) but as we all know AI is bit .. Mission: A US pilot has been shot down over panthera. Your mission is to rescure him, terminate Ramon, the enemy general and search destroy a suspected new enemy radar. It is a tough mission. It is made to be played utilizing "inflatable" boats where you can inflate/deflate your boat as you move around. Best way (and realtively safest) is to move up river utilizing stealth as you will not survive long if you blow your cover. Warning: Some of the troops have vicious guard dogs that will hunt you down. If your rescued pilot dies at anytime during mission, mission over! Assests: A US submarine is standing near by where you can request a missile strike on radar site one you have confrmed its location. Addons needed: Panthera Island: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=7467 Desert Mercenaries and BlackOps: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=6471 It is still in beta stage. I look forward to your feedback. zonker3210 1 Posted December 13, 2009 As I stated in Armaholic comments..."Error message indicates that the mission also requires Sentinel Weapons pack. Removing that from the "mission.sqm" file and the mission starts fine. Haven't gotten far enough thru the mission to rate it but it looks fun." I'm not sure that mp5's are appropriate for the mission, though...especially seeing as how some degree of assault is needed for assaulting ramon's compound. It's definitely not a CQB/urban mission and silenced m4's would be preferable, I think, since the gun-sights alone are far more suited to the mission. MP5's might be more helpful once the team makes it inside the compound but infil and exfil are a problem. Also, I only tried once with (I think) the first SEAL team but I believe that one of the characters does not have an MP5...in fact, if I am not mistaken, it's the medic and he's carrying an unsilenced m4. This caused quite a bit of problems when he opened fire and drew a lot of unwanted attention to the team...with fatal results. ;)
