Check your player profile from the main menu and remove the glasses.

I'm having the exact same problem. I just reinstalled the game and so far I can't join any multiplayer servers. I used Green Man Gaming's Capsule to download and launch Arma II, but no addons have been installed. It goes so far as downloading the mission and other essential files, going to the loading screen, loading, and then jumping right back to the multiplayer server browser. Here's a copy of the .RPT file.

Sorry for the butchered link, but it's being a pain and won't let me post it normally.

Hm the rpt looks fine for you. Please delete the file, try to connect a server and fail, exit and post the rpt again.

Ok, deleted the old file, joined a server, downloaded the mission, loaded.. aaaand... went right back to the server select screen. Again, no error messages or anything. Here's the new file.

Ok, I think I figured it out. There's something wrong with the BattleEye. Every time I try to join a new game, it says that BattleEye initiation has failed. Going to try reinstalling once again to see if that helps.

Reinstalled Arma 2, restarted the computer, but I still have the same problem. Noticed this time that there was no message in game when joining about BattleEye initiation failing. It simply booted me back to the server select like usual. Not sure if it's BattleEye now..

try this:

in mp you can set filter for BE.

make it show only non BE servers.

this way you can find out if BE is the problem or not

Now I'm fairly certain that it's a BE issue. Filtered with BE enabled, and couldn't join. Filtered with BE disabled, and joined just fine. Just need to figure out why BE isn't initializing correctly. I reinstalled it, and had no improvement. Does BE communicate through and specific ports that I could forward?

a) You can try to contact the BE autor himself for support. http://www.battleye.com/support.html

b) An idea would be to delete all the BE dlls (BEClient.dll) on your computer. Do a system wide search with all files displayed.

Seems like such a pain, but I really do want to play multiplayer! There are no good servers without BE! I'll try contacting support before I do anything drastic. Thanks again for helping.

I've found a solution to my problem, perhaps it will work for CfGlasses as well. I went to www.Battleye.com and downloaded the most up to date version of BattlEye. I replace the file I had with the newly downloaded one and ran the game as administrator - just in case - and it works just fine!
