  2. Dear Devs.. and ex-devs. I have a request to you all. I dont know what happened at your disscusions but I see a huge (sorry) bitchfight incoming. And if you do this bitchfight in public, this might be a much larger killer of this mod as anything else, so please dont. Maybe involve a smart impartial dude to solve this privately. I guess every side has its arguments. But if you people are doing it in public, dont let it escalate. What about everyone writes down their side of view and the community decides what they want at most. Actually I would prefer the private solution, because I support the stuff devs like to do, more than the stuff that the community wants to see. Thats how quality developes.
  3. Idk if you people realized, but 3 days ago, the devs of ace2 and agm announced to quit their projects and team up to develope ace3, so there will be no official updates for agm any more. and no this isnt an april joke (at least it seems so)
  4. yeah this looks damn good, Idk if youre already doing it, but the rig needs to be skinnier, I think. I was going to ask Spacecat for helping you people out with rigs n stuff, but it seems like he got a distance to arma 3 modding.

  6. As I said before, I could already die of happiness that this mod exists and I have huge respect and trust in this development. If you and others think that something is better a different way, I accept it. Im just writing down my Ideas and personal wishes

Im on your side, in my opinion, we should have 2 versions of the pelican: -1 Pelican with the VTOL flight model, for very fast troop insertion, for some very happy Pilots but especially for Coop and PvP games. -1 Pelican with the Helicopter flight model, controllable for AI Pilots, for shipping around supplies for singleplayer and Coop games Edit: Im not a dev, I dont know how hard it is to create a VTOL flight model that fits with the Pelican, but I know some Devs who actually can do such things.

  9. ooh dear.. first off I guess the mod is restricted on the "altis exploration" mission, idk. try out the editor, but you may need some experience. And then the Pillar of Autumn is not gonna be in this mod, I guess you mean the Charon-Class Frigate and this beauty is still WIP
  10. The MA5B can do 32 and 60 bullet magazines, but its not on the english version of halo.wikia.com, as I just noticed, but on the german.

  13. yeah I know, I agreed on this argument before. I will shut my mouth now and look what the next patches will do. Maybe its getting awesome, but it feels like the pelican mod is loosing a lot of potential right now. maneuvers like this for example wouldnt be possible. But I am not a dev, I, not even able to make a mod by myself, so do whatever you people wanna do.
  14. the mv22 was hard to fly indeed, but thats what it was suppoused to be. Arma 3 is still a military simulator. I love the fact that you need some experience to fly the opsrey perfectly, not that anyone who just had 5 minutes ingame could safely fast rope 2 rifle squads while doing a barrel roll
  15. hey cool that youre helping them, I would too, I would even do that damn VTOL pelican by myself, but I once tried to take a step into the arma 3 tools and I failed..
  16. My main reason for requesting a VTOL Pelican is, that its as slow as a Offroad and the way to get speed looks ridiculous. I mean, great job to the devs, there is surely tons of work in it. I think, there should be 2 Variants of Pelicans, one for very fast troop insertion (obviously without AI as the Pilot) and one for shipping around cargo units and vehicles

  18. so there isnt any chance for a VTOL pelican? Even if the AI couldnt handle such things, they still could land on runways I mean, dont get me wrong, Im bloody happy that this mod even exist, but I would be even more happy with a Pelican VTOL
  19. Then I recommend a plane flight model based on a VTOL (like the f35b from A2 or the MV22 Osprey). Shipping around some ammo crates and vehicles isnt the main reason of the pelican tho
  20. Is there any option yet to get the pelican on more than 200km/h without lowering the nose ridiculously far to the ground? this beauty is supposed to go way faster and I didnt see anything about this on the threads and bug lists

  22. because I dont have a reddit account and Im too lazy at the moment: -The slide animation of some weapons are a bit broken (especially the m6) -ammo counter on the weapons are useless (I dont know if they even are supposed to show the ammo count, maybe its impossible in Arma) and its not NV compartible -the m6 magnum should be hold a bit deeper into the hands (the finger is not really on the trigger, the little finger is inside the handguard or whatever its called) -The pelican is acting like a Helicopter, I recommend a flying behaviour like the MV-22 Osprey -m7 flashlight didnt work, not able to look through the reflex sight of the m7 -lights on the warthog makes it looking weird congrats on your alpha! really appreciate your work. people possible that some of those bugs are already known, Im damn tired edit: oh and I dont have any issues with agm tfar asdgjr or something either edit2: Maybe custom reload animations, ive seen pretty good ones from toadie2k4 and alwarren even tho models and textures are still early WIP, damn good stuff, already having a lot of fun
