  1. Pushing On Moving forward from the start of Apex Combat Group we find ourselves growing in number's, and in operation abilities. Jumping from skills and drills practice to a full blown Operation has and will prove difficult considering what we face, but we will manage. Media Apex Combat Group Here at The Apex Combat Group we aim to represent some of the largest regiments in the Global Scope of Forces, From all things American, the world of Russian. And everything in between. Apex Combat Group ( ACG ) is made up of several Squad size elements giving us the ability to change our play style on a campaign by campaign and/or mission by mission basis covering all aspects of the Trained Light Infantry, the Light Mechanised Infantry, the Mechanised Infantry and the Armoured Infantry, Last but not least..The Airborne Infantry! We also have a detachment of skilled pilots who represent the Apex Air Corp, flying many missions in support of our men on the ground including Close Combat Attack, Emergency Close Air Support, ISTAR as well as transportation of Person(s), supplies, equipment and vehicles. We are a Casual Mil-Sim unit with the limitations some GU's impose on there member's removed. Here at ACG you will find no one calling a higher rank by "Sir", you are not limited to the people you play with(we feel all members should be able to join more than 1 group at a time.)Worried you cant make it this week?..That's ok, we don't impose attendance ruling either! Currently, we conduct training and operations on Mondays and Thursday, between 19:30GMT and 22:00GMT +/- 15min. We are currently recruiting in both elements of ACG, Those who apply to the Apex Air Corp will have to deploy for a short period of time with Ground Forces for familiarization purposes. In addition we run our own custom mod pack, including all the kit a member would ever require in any of our Operations, as well as the kit for our enemies. Anyway that's enough from me, if you want to know more then feel free to jump over to our forums, hop on TS or fire a staff member a message.(Details below) See you on the battlefield soon! 4. October Update Operation Hood France has over the past year had problems with the massive refugee numbers entering France. After the collapse of the french economy, France turned to civil war due to clashes between right and left wing parties. One colonel staged a coup d'etatt relieving the sitting government, gaining the backing of several high ranking Military personnel and the most extreme party " Les Français Libres" or " Free France". After resigning from the EU parliament and NATO. Aid organisations at the french border of Spain, helping refugees stuck at the border, has reported that some of that some of their personal have been captured, wounded by the "Free France" Forces, some even missing. After a missile lock from a "Free France" controlled Mirage 2000 on a Royal Navy Frigate, as a show of force, the UK Parliament decided to send a task force to the "Free French" controlled Island of Pianosa on the request of Spain and Italy. Both Nations have seen unprovoked attacks on forces at their border. Without EU consent, The British Parliament have ordered The Rifles to start pre-deployment training for the securing of Pianosa, to render any form of preemptive strike on Spain and Italy from that strategic location useless. News As Operation Hood comes to a close and the Free French Forces beaten back TheRiflesGU move on too a new sighted target. Isla Duala! Shortly following a routine pre-deployment phase Operation Stonemason will see TRGU engaging with local militia.. and some other factions from the rough area. But don't worry. With the re-vamp of the Training map the upcoming rotation promises to show new and exciting things, among other additions. But for now you can find a small description of what can be expected during Operation Stonemason below : ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Recent attacks on peacekeeping forces in the north have limited UN peacekeepers to Kinsella airfield and areas south of it. Fearing a resurgence of militia reign in the north, the UN security council is discussing to reactivate Resolution 7655a, backing an international Intervention force to be deployed in an attempt to reestablish security. NATO forces deployed to the Republic of Afrene, tasked with training and advisory duties to local security forces, are on standby for a deployment to Duala." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Media Below is a small highlight reel of just one mission from Operation Hood, more media can be found over @ our forums or search for www.theriflesgu.co.uk on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6BiYYf0QyuQ Intrested?
