  1. Hello. Got into getting models to A3 recently and came across a problem with models collision not working. Found a test cube and that worked , so i took the config.cpp just incase maybe that would fix it , but nope. Heres the object builder: Blender (its not joined on the picture but i joined it before exporting ) : The test cube had just geometry as LOD and it worked fine for some reason. While mine doesnt.
  2. The points might have something to do with subdividing and extruding the areas. Going to look into the sample and see about the component selection , thought i missed it (because other examples had it) but had no idea where to find it. Thanks.
  3. Administrator did not help the cause. e I tried the alt - tab idea , but there was a problem . arma3.cfg is not writing anything in it (even tho it is writable) , and arma3profile lacks most of the parameters eg. AA.
  4. Hey, so few days ago i came a cross this god forsaken bug that doesn't allow me to save all of my video settings properly. Details like texture , object and terrain save with shadows . But everything else resets after restart , vsync sets back to enabled , AA sets back to x8 , etc.. I have checked and the cfg is writable , not read only. I even tried changing the path to another place on my hdd , and nuffin , same issue persists. Tried reinstalling , clearing my docs cfgs , profiles . Even searched and deleted the folder which housed the downloaded missions files somewhere in appdata. What could be causing this ?
  5. That was metric , scale was 1. Yeahh, i might have a wrong link there to the p3d. Thanks for the help, yet again. Edit , apparently had trouble saving the scale properly. Everything is fine. Crisis averted.
  6. Thought i applied it , just to make sure did it again and it worked. Somewhat smaller , have to adjust the scale i guess. When i load the object in Virtual Reality editor as an addon object , and then go into the mission it says "Could not open veetorn.p3d" - That being the name of the saved p3d trough blender and then made into an addon. Disclaimer , i am just getting started . Year ago i tried to look into custom objects in arma 3 , every single tool crashed. Now it i am actually getting somewhere.
  7. Hehe, silly me. Yes it solved the problem. Thanks for the help. On a side note , i might have done something wrong and i am back to the drawing board. also addon didnt recognize the p3d inside the pbo. How it looks : How it is supposed to look:
  8. Seems like a great msision, should try it out. Always wondered why missions dont most of the time even use half of the map.
  9. Hellou. I want to point out that this tool is purrfect. Been looking into 3d models from blender to Arma 3 and came across a slightly frustrating problem for which google seems to not find answers. So i export the model , all "cubes" have arma properties ticked and just in case i set weight 0 because someone had problems with custom weight objects not saving (also tried with weight 1). After object is exported , it ends up around 9kb (it was 0 for a while but thats because my directory was wrong) and object builder sees only 1 cube , even tho the model is more complex. What could be the problem ?
