Has anyone worked out a solution to the muzzle flash bug yet? I hate to stop using these BEAUTIFUL guns!

I've seen the crown vic in Dayz Overpoch, and Arma 2 Island Life (Texas Highway Patrol?), complete with the lights, mouse wheel controls...all of it. The disclaimer A3L has on their files is pretty funny, it's like " Hey you aren't allowed to take this shit that we obviously took from everyone else. Two things though; One, other than the Tonic framework, and charging for beta I don't really think anything they have done is all that bad. Yeah they are using some ported, and recycled cars in an Arma mod, it's always happened, and players like the models so at the end of the day I say just play with the cars, play Arma, have fun. The only other thing I find disturbing is their disclaimer. I don't think there is a single bit of A3L that is original! Maybe a skin, or a paint job? The rest of the stuff is direct ports, or shit from Arma 3 mods, and Arma 3 mods. I don't know where they get off writing that disclaimer? I fully expect to see A3L skins, cars, and maps on a lot of servers, and what the fuck can they really say about it? Nothing.

I wouldn't call what CL3 has done really "for profit" they have some good looking content, and they have just a couple servers. This seems to be borderline "witchhunting". There staff has put together a ton of great shit, and they probably have a couple thousands bucks split amongst a handful of guys working 40+ hours a week. That seems pretty fair to me.

Well to be honest as a modding platform, Arma is a hell of lot more than just that, and if you don't like it...well, you know.

Huh? What have I done? How am I a hacker? I'm merely telling you what will happen from here on out. It's something most owners have dealt with. I don't know how my statements led you to call me a "hacker", or what "your work" was supposed to mean. You need to get some sleep or something, maybe? Anyway, I dont see anything A3L has "created". What about that statement pisses you off? It is a fair assessment. I only mention that you guys can still be successful, but it wont be with so-called "unique" content, it will be based on how you manage your community. Seriously man, you need to learn to read, or stop answering posts that you didn't read in their entirety. Nothing is yours, that's all I'm saying.

This seems incredibly incriminating! You basically say we're going to rip off the other games for our Bohemia "mod", but then you try to say that the A3L files are proprietary, and legally yours! Here's what I think is going to happen to this "Life" mod, just has it has happened to every other mod based on Tonic's framework; People will be using your files, people will be hosting your models, and I guess scripts but honestly when I looked at your mission, and server files I couldn't really see any new scripts written by A3L...like ZERO SCRIPTING. Lystic has some neat stuff in there, and of course Tonic's work, but I didn't see anything that was written by A3L. Anyway, what is going to happen is people are going to run A3L in parts, or maybe even in it's entirety. The burden will be on A3L...just as it is for every community... to admin, and maintain the server in such a way that it remains populated. Other than that you don't have any leg to stand on. Sorry guys, but you haven't "created" anything, and people are going to run it. Just make sure you run it best!

Please correct me if I am wrong, but since the original content doesn't actually belong to A3L it seems the disclaimer is false, and completely non-binding. I mean someone could simply change the files names to something besides "A3L", which is in fact what you're team has done.Actually I don't think they would even need to change the file names! This legal statement is anything but legal, or enforceable! At the end of the day, how do you on one hand justify your original usage of mods, and models, but also try to say " You can't take them from us" Seems like utter bullshit, and obviously not a legal statement. It's funny to be honest. Hypocritical, and deceitful certainly, but still a bit comedic.

Everyone who has been around a few years knows that A3 is 99% based on Tonic's Life, and Wasteland, and to a lesser extent Sa-matra's mods. I don't understand the deceitful nature of the A3 Life team? Why wouldn't you just come clean, and give the respect that goes with proper accreditation? If Tonic pissed you off, and you simply don't like him.....fine, so be it, but it doesn't change the fact that it is his code, his ideas, and without the Tonic stuff, THERE WOULD BE NO A3 LIFE! Do you think everyone here is stupid? Also for the A3 team, that whole 30 dollar donation to play your "beta" was yet another deceitful insult to gamers, Bohemia, and the entire Arma modding community. Everyone knows you can't do that! So you made a mod? Big deal, it's not like you coded the engine, or the actual game, Bohemia did that! You guys really grind my gears. I hope Bohemia just shuts you down, you aren't developers, you're modders of thier game, and profiteers as well! You should be ashamed of yourselves. That goes for Caiden, and the whole A3 Life "team". The worst part of all of this is that I doubt Tonic, or anyone else even wanted anything to do with your "for profit" mod, so to discredit them was just more low-life crap on your part.
