  1. Yes, I understand they are not explosive rounds. However, you make swiss cheese out of anything with a 7.62 and it shouldn't be flying very long, especially if the rotors are torn up. Obviously, the 7.62 will be an annoyance at best to a tank. My issue is mainly with others choppers. The damage is not severe enough imho.
  2. I did find a thread mentioning the damage being very poor, but I'm wondering if anything is being done about it or if an update is planned. Also, is this modified in KoTH? I don't have as much experience is other game modes to know if the minigun is weak sauce across the board. The minigun's accuracy is pretty realistic, and the stated 3 meter grouping at 500 meters is quite a feat! if you're in a steady hover and your target is at an even altitude, then maybe that grouping is possible. Which makes sense. But the damage is completely off base. I can unload 2000 rounds on a chopper and have it survive easily. Sometimes I'll be dog fighting and pull up behind the hostile chopper and shoot the shit out of his tail rotor but he chopper isnt' damaged like it should be. These encounters are at very close range, < 100 Meters. Anyway, I'm curious what your thoughts are. Is my aim really that bad?
  3. Hello, Thanks to those who posted helpful threads on configuring the development environment. Although it was very frustrating, I eventually figured it out. My friend and I have an idea to create a custom mod or expansion game type. Being completely new to Arma 3 editor, I have made a few missions and that seems easy enough placing assets from the game. But creating a different game type is a whole nother beast. As an example, King of the Hill. This is an excellent mod, which I enjoy playing a great deal. However, I cannot find any information about the development of the mod. Is there a helpful document which discusses how to create a multiplayer mod? Perhaps discussing approaches to creating the assets needed, custom event triggers, etc? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
  4. Hello, I'm very new to modding, and am currently struggling to get my development environment configured. I've got Arma 3 tool installed, and my P: drive mounted. Now, I need to copy assets. The automated tool written by Mikero is failing for me. Can anyone help? After selecting "y" to alter some contents of P, I receive the following error: "mikero tools is not set in registgry C:\Program Files (x86)\Mikero\DePboTools\bin\bin extgractpbo is not installed Press any key to continue . . ." Help?:butbut:
