It's from the scarlk mod on armaholic, thought I switched them out must have missed them, all tho I'm not sure it even uses it cause it uses a bis made suppressor. If it's an issue or an issues with rights I will take it down, not trying to step on any toes, just got it to work and though I'd share it with the community that has given me so much. edit: if someones knows which sound files the bis suppressors use i would gladly change it out for the files that are currently in the patch file. -

I'm am not the dev of this mod and in no way shape or form take credit for his work. However with that being said, i have made and patch file that makes the sound work post 1.24 udate. there is a catch, it requires that asdg jointrails be installed, as it also adds support for that as well. i'd ike to thank da12thMonkey wouldn't have been able to this without his help. thanks man. asdg_jointrails_SIG_SG55x enjoy. -
So i found a cool mod i'll like to add to a local mission to mess around with. i in no way shape or form want to do host it/take over ownership, or anything like that. I only want to do this for my private personal use. The mod hasn't been updated or commented on by the dev in about a year, and as we all know the 1.24 update broke sound. So i want to fix it in the config.bin and rebuild the pbo file. ow i have got the config.bin unbinarized, and edited. My issue is i can't seem to get it to binarize. I try and use arma 3 tools (official, non dev branch) and do it though binarize but that gets a fatal error and has to close, try using addon builder with binarize checked, get and error in cpp file, doesn't tell me what it is or give me the line the error occurred on, and give build failed result error=1. Any idea's would be great guys. here is the mod i'm trying to work on Scar LK

Is there a way to do it that shows you where the error is? I got sound working for the gun, but still have no sound as soon as I put the suppressor on it, tried the way the suppressor is configured in both the hlc ar15 pack and the way massi did it on his mods neither way worked. Do I need to add some more code or change code somewhere other than in the suppressor class and weapon main class?

I found the error it is a missing. Paa extension in the hlc_rifle_556 and hlc_rifle_5562 classes under cfgweapons. -

That doesn't delete every unit in the group, and groups range for 2 units to 8 units. I need a way to delete them all regardless of size of the group -

I am getting the same error. Also the Magpul version is missing the display pic when you have an optic and suppressor attached. Is there a quick fix for this? -

I'm trying to use the ar-15 weapon pack on a server but i get this error no entry \bin/cfgweapons.hlc_30rnd_556x45_EPR. now it worked fine on my local listen server and local dedicated server but on my vilayer game server i get that error. all files were uploaded from my local arma 3 directory. I didn't find an entry for it in cfgweapons either, but then i can't find any of the hlc ammo in the cfgweapons either. Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks. eidt: I did find all the ammo in cfgammo. -
I was going to ask the same question. :) the reason i was going to ask is i run a private arma 3 server that i would like to use mods on, most of which require your mod to work right. Now i'm OK with the old way of installing mods but a lot of the guys that play are totally new to arma series and because of this the steam workshop auto download is nice allows them to play with the veteran players. Love the mods as well keep up the great work.

I've been working on a custom wasteland server. I added some weapon packs(rh_m4,rh_pistol) to the server and add the appropriate lines in the store config file. Goto a gun store and all guns show up no problem, all ammo types show up and are correct. The custom ammo for the pistols works like is should when u buy it. However if you try to buy any 5.56 or 7.62 ammo from any gun the game crashes. Now I'm sure it's something that I missed or something stupid. I have tried commenting out the lines for all the custom ammo and the guns them selves but still crashes. And it only does it on the ammo. Any idea's, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

So i updated arma 3 and now A3Wasteland doesn't work on either map. I get the error ArmA 3 cannot load file 'mpmissions\A3Wasteland_v0.Stratis' when i try to run stratis. ArmA 3 cannot load file 'mpmissions\A3Wasteland_v0.Altis' when i try to laod Altis. I am using a freshly downloaded copy of a3wasteland 0.9g from https://github.com/A3Wasteland/Release_Files/ I did notice that it leaves th 9g off of the mission name when giving the error. Anyone else have this issue or able to help.

So i have since unistalled arma 3 from my pc, reinstalled it, downloaded a fresh copy of the mission files, installed them properly. I then ran the game with no launch options and no mods, got the same error. Re-downloaded a fresh copy of inidbi and installed that. Recived the same error. I downloaded the A3Wasteland v0.9c from steam workshop and that one ran, however the ones on my computer 0.9f or 0.9g still do not and gives same error.

my dedicated is ran on hfb servers and the other is a local lan server on my machine

Also when I try to connect to my dedicated server I get the error version mismatch. It seems to only be affecting the a3wasteland missions. Even does it after deleting everything needed for the mission restarting the pc and reinstalling a fresh copy of the mission just downloaded off the Internet. Was running fine before the 1.20 update now I can't get it to run at all. I have verified the system cache of Arma 3 via steam as well to no avail. Sent from my HTC6435LVW using Tapatalk

I always delete the old init file before i do anything. i ended deleting all the files for it and re uploaded all them to the root dir. of the server. (i even re downloaded a another copy of the zip file) then i ran assip and added the following line to the init.sqf file nul = [450,900,30,300,6,[0,0,1],player,"default",0,2500,nil,["AWARE","MOVE"],true] execVM "LV\ambientCombat.sqf" then uploaded it to the server. started the server let it fully boot, then restarted it let it fully reboot again and then logged into the server. i haven't had the need to use simpleCache script yet. The militarize fill house scripts both have an option for making them civilian but i couldn't get that to work either.

So i got it to work on the dedicated server. however now i have another problem, as it is a a3watselad mission there are 3 player sides (blufor, Opfor, and inpendent. all the mission ai is spawn under cilivans. So now hopefully an easier question how or what do i change to make them spawn as cilivans?

Great work on this spunFIN. So i got your ambient ai script to work on a local listen server, but i got stuck on the spawning/client initialize screen, however after hitting esc and getting to the menu and choosing re-spawn everything worked great. At this point i decided to copy all the files inside of the LV and LV_functions folders to the proper directory on my hfb dedicated wasteland server. This included the working init file with the call statement i received from the assip app. I did all of this with the server stopped. i then restarted the server, let it completely load and then restarted it again just to make sure. After logging into the server and playing for over 10 mins never saw any ambient ai. Anyone think they can help me out? i'm sure i just missed something small and stupid, but i've been banging my head on a wall trying to get this to work.
