Thank you so much! I was just trying to do these missions and walking away jumped me into the Supply Network mission instead of "scouting." I would never think to do that.

I see you got through this mission, but for future reference, when you open the map, there is a menu of additional information on the top left. I'm sorry, I don't remember the exact items there, but you can review your objectives, team members and their inventories, etc. One of the options there will show you past dialogue. I'm not sure you could just do a wide side-stepping. I just drop dead when I do that. No explosion or anything, I just die. I suspect the game just kills me if I stray past a certain point. This has only happened when I took a certain route (see spoiler below), and always preceded by Kerry saying something along the lines of "I'm getting lost, I should get back on track." Does anyone know if the game actually does that? If it does: BOOO! Here's what I found when I played:
