Hey guys. Whats the best way to give a commander armored units of a specific type and quantity then stop them from spawning in any more?
For example: Giving a Takistani Commander 4 T-72s and 8 T-34s but no more than that for the entire scenario

I am now quite curious about what the " AI Joint Force Air Component Commander " will do. The naming of it reminds me of an element of the RAF known as the "Joint Force Air Component Headquarters (JFACHQ)" which I'm lead to believe coordinates air units from the Army, Navy and Air force on campaign. It'll be interesting to see how this develops and whether it will stop the AI command structure from throwing valuable aircraft away.

I think that they'll produce content to meet the game play needs of 3 Commando Brigade first and foremost and since the commandos are a primarily light infantry force i wouldn't get your hopes up about seeing any of the heavy kit you mentioned anytime soon but i believe i did see a post about source files from burnes a while back so we might see something but again i wouldn't get your hopes up...
That said the land rovers were a nice surprise and were well implemented good job guys

Am i reading this right? The I44 Team have handed you EVERYTHING? I remember when ArmA 3 first came out and there was quite a bit of doubt about the future of WW2 mods but this is momentous news and i look forward to seeing the Arsenal of equipment in IFA3 grow and hopefully the addition of the british. Good work guys!

Nice pic. I'm curious though... How much punishment can the Snatch take? I saw you guys test firing an L85 into the windscreen in the video posted previously but I'm curious whether they can survive PK fire... Obviously an RPG-7 or an IED will obliterate them but what can they take as far as MGs and other small arms go?

Being more specific helps figure out the problem.
At the time it was when using any vehicles that came with the mod, everything was up to date and i was only using one monitor.
It seems to have resolved itself now though... After a week of it being like that while playing the day after i post here it stops...

I get a black line across the middle of my screen when using IFA3 Lite vehicles although not unplayable its pretty annoying and i'm wondering if anyone knows of a cause or fix for this?

I know smoke really well and seeing as i haven't heard much from him lately myself i doubt there will be an update coming soon. Not least until he returns more active on the modding front. I think he is more concentrating on making a living. So for now you may just have to play with what you have.

The Land Rovers look amazing and i think they'll complement the Jackals well. I've been hoping for a Snatch for a while and I'm happy to see someone finally put one in ArmA 3. So thank you and i look forward to getting to play around with the LRs

Looking forward to the new maps guys. You're achieving so much with such a small team and your hard work is obvious which makes each Update and Release even better. I've visited family in Vietnam a number of times and a lot of the locations in the maps remind me of ones I've seen out in the countryside away from the cities. If only there was a way to let the player experience the heat, mud and bugs of the real thing. ;)

Indexed for ALIVE is usually done by the ALIVE team not the map maker. Or you can do it yourself if you need it done.
It's listed as not being able to be indexed on the Alive Github because it's "Obfuscated" I'm not sure what that means since i've never really played around with creating terrains but until thats changed it can't be Indexed. :)

So what is planed in the future for 3CB BAF Vehicles?
There was a post i noticed where the author of the MK10 Landing Craft said he had been working on a BAF landrover pack:

Mike I'd maybe focus on the landing craft.. hint hint
So if i had to guess i'd say they have some LRs in the works although i won't speculate as to how far along they are... ;)

Have you guys considered adding gunner protection kits as a variant to the HMMWVs? It always kind of stumped me why RHS never included the variant.
I believe i saw somewhere previously that Up armored variants of the HMMWVs will be coming in the future
