    Advanced Train Simulator (ATS)

Actually not a bad idea to test. Maybe also add special tracks with no visible texture so as to not stand out.
  2. While inside F-16CJ with two AGM-88 HARM's and Sniper/HTS pod; SEAD capabilities not functioning against RHS ZSU-23 even though they give off active radar signature and are detected, no HARM lock on function available. The manual says they will be locked on if active radar detected, however doesn't have any instructions. Any ideas? Thanks

Beautiful Paint job though! Found my next project :)
  4. Unfortunately the link doesn't work anymore. However, I have gone out of my way to create my own. It's as simple as pulling out the PAA, converting it to img or png, then (by choice) layer out the texture by selecting the different components and organizing the layers by precedence. My group is currently working on upgrading the helmets to 2048px for more realistic detail and use. PS: All of this can be done on GIMP, however I recommend Photoshop for better detail manipulation. The config is a little more difficult and required me to out-source, however it is as simple as referencing the 'Firewill' helmet model and applying your new texture as a hidden texture. There are a lot of videos on writing configs for re-textures.

    A-10 Warthog Series Standalone

Hey firewill, the A-10C is looking great! Out of all of your aircraft, I would personally have to say that this one is damn near perfect and complete! Just out of curiosity, have you considered adding the option for external fuel tanks to the A-10C? http://www.airliners.net/photos/airliners/2/0/3/1542302.jpg
  6. Keep on keeping on! This mod is amazing and is too far along to be touched by Bohemia's carrier.
  7. That looks incredibly simple and easy to use! Thanks Any plans to add more cosmetics to the turrets themselves?

    Advanced Train Simulator (ATS)

Somebody get this man a promotion! jk But seriously that would be such an awesome mod. You always see 'Combat Skiers' in movies, so why not in Arma? Most likely impossible to do, but oh well. lol. Well yeah it would be amazing if this was on Australia. Also, there are other maps of equal size in the works that could use this creativity. Good for role play and combat scenarios.

240 kph? Amazing! This is going to be great for map makers to use on newer maps. Thank you

*Cries tears of joy* Thankyou soo much! Been waiting since the beginning for this!
  11. *Spoilers: My WIP is 81.92km x 81.92km I am more than happy with a decision to stay at the current speeds Firewill, it creates time to target factors. Thank you for the response and information.
  12. Agreed for the most part. However there are alot of 20x20 maps coming out in the community this year. For example: it took me at 5 min 29 seconds to cross my map with afterburners at 1281kph. It's super fast for altis and cherno, but with 20x20 and up, I think a little increase in the speed would be beneficial.
  13. Wow, it looks amazing. I hated riding in these in Afghanistan and to this day still hate riding in them, but still it looks amazing; great job! PS: Any plans on making an ISAF version with RPG cages and/or netting on it? and possibly the crow system ontop?
  14. Loving the APKWS on the A-10C. It locks on all laser targets(from I-TGT; another aircraft; and ground forces). They are great for a fast close-quarters air support. We will continue to use them and try to find flaws -thankyou.

Any more teasers for the F-15SE?
  16. Hello and welcome to the 69thID Operations Wing recruitment forum! Website: http://www.69thid.com The 69thID is a "Two part- One fight" community consisting of an Infantry component, known as "Sabres"; and an Aviation component known as the "Operations Wing". Our Operations Wing consist of three squadrons: Fixed Wing, Rotary Wing, and AFSOC. The Fixed Wing consist of a 'Flight Leader' and numerous pilots. All pilots within the Fixed Wing must participate and graduate from 'Basic Infantry Training' and 'SERE'. Once completed, pilots move on to the 'Qualification' phase where they will be educated and trained on basic and advanced flight mechanics and operating procedures. After qualification is completed, the pilot is awarded their Wings and is promoted to the rank of '2Lt'. He/She is then cleared to fly in operations and deployments with the 69th Infantry Division. The Rotary Wing is structured exactly the same as the Fixed Wing. They must graduate Basic Infantry Training, SERE, and Qualification. The only differences are in Qualifying with Rotary Air frames, and with the rank structure. After a recruit has qualified as a rotary pilot; He/She is given their wings and is awarded the rank of WO1. The AFSOC Squadron is a special collection of highly trained and serious players who operate in two specialties; Para-rescue and JTAC. To become an AFSOC member a recruit must graduate from Basic Infantry Training and must achieve the rank of PFC while being an active member of the Infantry component. Only after reaching the rank of PFC, will the member be eligible to apply for the Operations Wing AFSOC; and will be required to graduate SERE and Qualify in a specially designed series of classes where they will learn the duties and responsibilities of both Para-rescue and JTAC. After Qualifying, they will then be allowed to choose their path in AFSOC and participate in operations and deployments with the 69thID. Notice: The 69thID uses a set of specifically chosen mods to increase variety and action in our operations. Such mods as: "Firewill Series", "RHS Series", "CUP Maps", "ShackTac", and numerous other popular mods.

Looks great. Cannot wait to fly F-15SE's in formation!
  18. I've taken all the images I need to make the high definition mosaic for my sat image using Google Earth and a grid overlay I made in Google SketchUp (images at 4800x4800px); however when it comes to piecing them together, I cannot seem to get them to align correctly.

    Converting srtm.tar -to- .asc

Yes, the second image is the height map immediately imported back into L3DT after I exported it; just to check it.
  20. What is the best way to convert this file?

    Converting srtm.tar -to- .asc

i took the srtm image and imported it into l3dt pro. Everything looked good so i exported it into asc. Then I re-opend the asc in l3dt and it was way messed up, looked incredibly corrupted. The same thing happend when i imported it into TB, which means something is happening when it is being exported. Any clue?
