2nd Battalion, 77th Field Artillery Regiment 4th Infantry Division The 77th Field Artillery Regiment is a military simulation community operating in Bohemia Interactive’s Arma 3. The community is based in Europe, operating in the GMT timezone. We strive to provide a realistic environment in our events. We aim to support other units and communities in their operations as artillery support. Training is a large part of the 77FA. Each member must go training before participating in operations with the community. This to ensure the gun sections can operate effectively and fluidly while on deployment. Our training programs teach members how to operate with real-life tactics, techniques, and procedures. This is all part of our aim to provide a realistic environment in the game. The 77FA utilizes modifications to enhance Arma 3’s realism environment, and add the necessary equipment, weapons, and vehicles needed to operate as a United States Army unit. In ACE3 there is a new slideshow module. Only objects with hiddenSelection 0 can be used as screens... What does hiddenSelection 0 mean? Thanks in advance.

Sling load || Help pls

How would i use this? sorry i'm terrible at scripting -
I would like to sling load an artillery gun from a mod (RDS east static weapons pack) from a chinook (dg British Aircraft mod). This can't be done with the vanilla sling load system. Is there a way I can do this through scripts? I'm pretty terrible at scripts so some explanation would help.

Consider the 2nd Battalion, Parachute Regiment. Information 2 PARA is a British Milsim unit, with roots dating to 2012 and a multinational group of dedicated and commited players. Here at 2 PARA we use equipment, weaponry, vehicles and a structure based closely on the British Army's Parachute Regiment and 16 Air Assault Brigade. Mods At 2 PARA we use a set of mods to enhance the realism and immersion of the game as well as bring in equipment, weapons and vehicles that allow us to accurately portray the British Armed Forces. Our main mods are the following: - ACE3 - Task Force Radio - ALiVE - 3CB BAF Equipment, Weapons and Vehicles Operation 2 PARA features a slick balance between training and missions. We organize our time into Home Rotations and Deployments. The Home Rotation focusing on training and practice while the Deployments focus on immersive, developed campaigns based on realistic story-based missions. The duration for a Home Rotation is approximately 2-4 weeks and 4-8 weeks for a Deployment. Application 2 PARA features a wide range of roles for new recruits to fill, and proper training to fit new recruits into those roles. As a friendly and welcoming community, we ensure that all new recruits are part of the group and have fun both in and out of our events. In the I44 mod for Arma 2 there was a feature that allowed you, through an action menu, to build up position around you. They look like this: Is there a way to possibly implement this in Arma 3? I'm not very good at scripting or modding but am i right in guessing you could have an action that when activated, creates to object and allows you to place it? Thanks in advance

504th Parachute Infantry Regiment 82nd Airborne Division Arma 3 Realism Unit In the 504PIR we focus on realistic usage of tactics, structure and methods to defeat our enemies. Detailed missions and campaigns provide our members with an immersive experience while a friendly atmosphere outside of missions creates a close connection between members. When it comes to mods we carefully select them to ensure we aren't making our members download 20GB of content. We pick mods that we believe will enhance the player's experience, a few examples being RHS, Alive and ACE3. When it comes to training we believe that putting our members though 2 hours of in-game sessions results in little improvement. Therefore we host a single training session a week that will take no longer than one hour, and will focus on mistakes made in previous missions, this allows us to iron out the flaws the team. Players do not need to "pass out" a training course before joining missions, as we believe playing our missions provides the best experience for improvement rather than a 2 hour training session. The unit is based in Europe, in the GMT timezone, however we ensure that our event times allow for members from other timezones to join with limited hassle. Our official events are hosted on Saturday and Sunday at 7pm GMT. Throughout the week our server runs a constant mission that players can simply hop onto and play casually.
