FFS let us filter out Altis life

As i said before that does not work, because both are set as CO-OP missions so you have to deal with all the breaking point, and altis life servers when browsing
  2. the title should explain it all, we NEED a way to filter out all those freaking Altis life servers, and also those breaking point servers. it's such a pain in the ass to check "co-op missions" then have all of those pop up. in all honesty it makes the experience of arma that much more frustrating to me. what i suggest is give us an area in the server filters that lets use type something in and if a server name/mission contains those it will not show you it. ----------OR---------- the developers of these gametypes could label them as PVP or something else that is not use much, because face it Altis life and breaking point sure as hell are NOT CO-OP!

How to aim GBUs in all CAS aircraft

now while we're talking about IRL and stuff IIRC most ground attack planes that use GBUs have some sort of laser designation device on them so they dont have to rely on a ground unit to target for them. ahh here it is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AN/AAS-38 yeah, most ground attack aircraft mount one of those so they can laze their own targets

Clans: Let's play ARMA 3...with OTHER clans?

hey i know you said you're sick of playing with public players and such, but i am a fairly responsible player who has yet to join a clan and was wondering if i could possibly join in on this? if clans are regularly hosting organized missions on these servers it sounds like a great way to enjoy the true experience that is arma and to also find a nice group. it would be pretty cool to be able to like look at a calender and say "oh hey group XYZ is having a mission on server ABC at time 12:34 i can jump in and join them for a night of fun gaming"

How to aim GBUs in all CAS aircraft

i will hopefully be posting a youtube video on this soonish for anyone who might not fully understand this explanation.
  6. so i was screwing around with how to drop GBUs accurately in the wipeout, buzzard, and the nephron and found something out, this is what i did: with the wipeout get 800 meters up and more than 2.5 km away, then level off heading towards target. when at 1.5km away begin dive placing the small "v" at the bottom of the HUD on your target. when the target is within 700m drop the GBU and watch the fireworks :D repeat with buzzard, but use small thing off dash that sticks up repeat with nephron, but use the second L in the word roll at the bottom of the HUD i tried each of these multiple times and it seems to on each reliably drop the GBU within about 10-15 ish meters of the target. also on each one you want to be flying at about 300kph except the nephron should be above its stall speed. and when you pull up you typically end up at about 500m in the air so you're still a fairly hard target to hit i hope this helps any other pilots because you cant always get a ground-pounder to laze a target for you and those GBUs pack a punch.
  7. i would like to see an ECM variant of the light vehicles like hunters, Hemits etc. for all sides. i feel that this would be balanced because it would prevent an organized military force from being able to dominate a guerrilla force by having a single jet in the air. as it is now if a guerrilla force tries to go up against all the advanced lock-on weapons that an organized force will have they cannot being any vehicles to the battle limiting their ability to move around the map. if there were an unarmed version of say the hunter or something with ECM then a guerrilla force could be a small fast-moving force like it should. now for what the ECM should do? i would say one or more of these options: -prevent lock on of the vehicle with guided weapons (perhaps maybe just at long range?) -cause a large chance for guided weapons to miss, with the chance to miss increasing with range -cause UAVs and UVGs to not be able to clearly target them as hostiles not only will this allow guerrilla forces to effectively combat an organized force, this should also allow the infantry of a large organized force to be a more effective fighting force. (ie not getting wiped out before getting within their range)
  8. hello everyone i am looking for a squad that does organized operations similar to how the famous group shacktac does theirs. i have been in two organized groups before one being the 29th ID (red orchestra) and the also famous 7th cavalry. the catch with this is that i cannot make a time commitment to show up to some form of "training" twice-a-week-every-week-but-we-dont-do-anything-after-the-first-one i simply cannot make a time commitment like this because my schedule is not really set in stone.
