    Native implementation is still planned but not complete, meanwhile if you grabbed the mods through steam, either the Core, or All-in-One RHS compatibility files will give them support. If Not, the RHS Core Compat in the extras folder will do the same.

    Yes. It's hard, tedious and manual Here's the short answer: EVERY weapon animation in Arma, I think BARRING GM,who used some fancy plugin to generate it, is hand-written C-like script, and it's actually very fucking tedious and in some manners quite limited. It's why,for example I try to limit the remove/insert magazines to about the same angle, because having them come in at different ones is just HEADACHES. For example: Here is as simple reload, the MP5s- Whilst here, is a more complex one- the M249s - It's an engine limitation, and, IMO it's one of the worst of the absolute HARD limits, tech-wise, in the engine. Now, like I said earlier, Vertexmacht (GM's devs) use some export plugin that's auto-generating the the above data, so they're kind of getting away with murder a bit TBH, but it's still very much a hack around and still does have it's in game limitations. I re-iterate: HAND-CODED. Not run though an animation tool, no procedural scripting tools, it's just Notepad and several days of copy-paste, alter and cleanup. It's why THIS https://twitter.com/toadie2k/status/1114087345433616384 is a goddamn feat. So yeah, that's why.

    Yeah, it's been brought to my attention. My initial eyeball of it seemed about on, but clearly it's not. On the positive side, at least it's CONSISTENTLY all wrong, because I did actually properly measuer out the proportions of the reticle and scope ring to what they should be, so it's just a matter of scaling.     Yep 100% Purposeful. They were basically generic ones made to bridge a gap prior the Joint Rails becoming standard... and there's nicer Suppressors available now. That's totally a workable solution (though I'm not sure HOW feasible that is to the real life weapon in theory), but for a later update.

    They're in the AR15 pack. Very much in the "it's finally done" relieved phase, have been working pretty solidly for the better part of 4 months getting everything up to a fairly even standard, which I hope comes through, after working that long on something straight, kiiinda itching to be over, you know? Also, NIArms is getting legit pretty huge in just sheer mass of content to manage. Like I said somewhere else, it's easily like 300+ weapon configs alone if you include the duplicates for special hidden cases (like for the magswitch system or for RHS grips, the new reload system used on the C96s, etc) .. and that's JUST weapons, and JUST configs. I wrote ACE values. They might be a little off on authenticity compared to Spartan's base values, but only really be Spartan's own worst-case tolerance margin... so it should still cut mustard. Extra note: I've got a hotfix for Core coming in the next....2 hours... so if you're cribbing off the pastebin, check back there in that time. Once that's done,SW is getting updates pushed, and then I'll be back here with the formal update/release post collating everything.

    I'm going to say it's the perspective. Grated it's the 1-8x F1 short dot, so it's already kind of the stout boi tube. That is correct, and it'll do away with 90% Of the compat files. If it support's CBA's JAM initiative, where applicable it'll run in NIArms.

    Actually, to correct the record, I'm not sure what state the correspondence you had with War_lord(He's currently doing the full-time-load university thing,) is at, but I had received the request basically within the day you asked, and it was on my radar to start since you asked... and my work on it currently is me filling the commission. Shoot me a DM and we can sort out WTF and get everything up to running speed. Related, sort of -if you're not watching my twitter, there is a fuck-off big patch coming within the next 7 days.     [Discretely adds Core compats to Workshop] Thank you for informing me of my blind-spot. While we're here - for those who've been waiting - HK416 Source Files are now available for those who want them. Worth mentioning - for the Substance-based peeps- I've got cavity maps in the camo reskin PSDs, but not as separate TGAs because I just generate them through running the Xnormal normal map>cavity tool (that's just how I roll fight me), but I've also included the HPs in native max form and batched out SBMs, so you can generate your own if that's your deal. Also have that 416 GL-related issue spotted and potentially sorted. Will keep posted.

    Right, panic day over, Time for launch. Image Gallery The development of the HK416 platform is a strange anomaly in the world of 2018. If judged by it's design intent - an AR15 with some of the issues H&K found with the system removed- the HK416 is by and large stands on it's own merits. However, in the context of the flood of AR-15 pattern projects since (both Civil and Military spec), the end product 15 years on seems out of date. How did it come to this? The Genesis of the platform was a confluence of sorts: In the early-to-mid 90s Heckler und Koch was in the midst of multiple US-DOD weapons development programs (most notably the XM29 OICW), which was the same time that then R&D officer for Delta Force Larry Vickers was consulting and evaluating. During the consultations, Vickers made a formal request of H&K on behalf of Delta for improved carbines.The reasoning for these was straightforward: Delta and other SF units were using non-standard CAR-15s in a variety of designations, often in barrel/gas system lengths that made them wholly unreliable and ultimately impractical. The general fix of what was now the H&K M4 was to adopt the G36 Short-stroke gas system, it itself an adaptation of the AR18 system.In 2004 the project was complete, and after a legal scuffle with Colt over the name, Delta Force took acceptance of their requested carbine: a more reliable and durable 5.56mm CQB weapon with better suppressed capability. The cost of that extra durability and performance however, came at a weight premium,and it's one of the criticisms made of the system to this day. Still, with the Commercial launch, the system saw solid interest. By 2008 it was clear to H&K that with the dead-ends of the XM8 and XM29 programs, combined with the limited interest globablly in the G36, the rising interest in the 416 made apparrent what the market wanted. No place was this more apparent than when the Nowegian Military selected the rifles, in a 16.5 inch barrel configuration, as their standard rifle- replacing 40 year old G3s.The REAL windfall though came later in the year with the US Navy SEAL raid in Pakistan, where the tell-all propaganda tour afterwards made ample highlight to "the guns that got it done", replete with personal customisations like Magpul CTR stocks, Overmold Grips, RAHG lightweight fore-ends, and an impressive LLM stack. The last major adopter of the what could probably be now considered first pattern HK416 system, was the USMC- As a companion and/or replacement for the M249 SAW in an infantry Squad. The idea has merit, and while some of the accessories the Corp decided to adopt as part of the system were questionable in their selection, the rifle itself was a good fit. Heavy barrel with a long service life, little to change in the way of battery of arms or maintenance, can deliver better Automatic performance than an M4, but retains better mechanical accuracy over longer strings. As a whole, as far as service rifles go, this is one of a few viable open-market options left. For military purposes, it's more than good enough, and that at the end of the day is what clenches the deal. Variations include(where applicable): 5 Barrel Lengths 6 Stocks 5 Fore-end variants End-user applied camo patterns Grenade Launcher Variants Various minor ergonomic custom parts For a total of 28 HK416s As a note: the RAHG and SMR foregripped weapons do not currently support VFG/AFGs. The support will be enabled as part of a future Core update. Apologies for the inconvenience. Downloads: NIarms HK416s V1.01 Also available on Steam Workshop NIArms Core V1.51 NIarms All-in-One V11 IMPORTANT NOTE: Currently there is an issue with reloading 416 variants with grenade launchers where changing primary mags will eat the round in the GL, and auto-load a new one(Meaning you can switch STANAGs 5 or 6 times and find yourself out of GL rounds). Currently working on the issue, but in the meantime, I'd advise against using the GL variants.

    Right, clear backblast- Release Time. SG550: So, like the video says, 24 variations, basically covering every mainline 550 family iteration (the two running exceptions are the ACTUAL SG552, and the prototype SG553B Blackout.) Comes with ZF90 Scope mount options as well as NAR mount options, quadrail variants, GL options (both SG550 specific and more modular). Basically it has everything you want out of an infantry weapon platform- even a dedicated Sniper Rifle. AND there's a Core update too. IF you're subscribed on Steam, you've already got it. If you've not- NIArms Core V1.4 SG550 Rifles V1.0 Lastly- Complete has been updated as well: NIArms All-In-One V10 Have a blast!

    Yes, and probably. The only REAL drawback is it's extra config work, but that's never stopped me before.     As far as I can actually reproduce it, it seems sporadic, so I've not been able to concretely pinpoint. My first instinct is it's a binarising issue, and since rebuilding core it's seems to have gone(because that's where the muzzleflashes are), but if anyone else says otherwise, by all means stick an issue on the github tracker (OR if you have an idea what's going on, please shed some light.) EDIT: Okay yeah, seems to be tied to attaching the MAG58 Brake. So to answer the actual question: No, sadly. As a temp fix, just avoid the mag58 brake attachment.
