  1. Yes Can't reproduce. Possibly RHS, CUP or something else interfering. They're in. Considered it, yeah. I figure later one, killing two birds with one stone and doing the F88/F90 (the latter seems like a popular ask)
  2. Subsonics and the Saiga Buckshot error will be fixed when Core gets the patch up, which is tomorrow on twitter, and.. probably later tomorrow on here.
  3. mm. Apparently my twitter is more watched than I originally thought. Lessons learned the hard way. Will have all that sorted by the end of the weekend.
  4. SW isn't currently up to date, nor, TECHNICALLY, is the first post in the thread. I was hoping to keep the links lowkey until I had both updated, and I was going to have a link-through to a site I've got mostly set up that was going to be a unifying resource for stuff, but word gets around I guess and none of that is ready :P
  5. oh, that. Yeah, so, the front and rear not aligning is entirely out of me forcing the front post to sit on the point of impact for a given distance, It's not a pretty solution, but it's better than the alternative and not having the shots land where you expect them. Caveat- only while undeployed and not leaning. I suspect that BI's still working on the underlying code that lets animated zeroing work, because yeah, sight misalign worse when deploying or leaning. Nothing I can do about that.
  6. No, not really, but this is why I provided the source files for the compatibility patches.
  7. Double check you're not running duplicates. of the AK pack, that's the only way I can think of that that could happen. Because I occasionally practise contrarianism.
  8. Yah, I've not been replying to things a lot recently, but that's only because I'm like at 200% getting everything up to speed. Keep in mind I've got a backcatalog of about almost RHS's size to maintain nowadays, and there's enough finetune touches that I've been going through ( adjusting the GL zeroing across the board, material changes, Soundshaders implementation, primary irons zeroing where applicable, cleaning up some inheritancies) that I really haven't had much time to do anything else, honestly. Re: Retro AR15s, not going to make the pack update, but will be following in a fortnight. Priorities, and all that, stuff thats out first. Good news though is that one way or another, the big patch is coming this weekend and some to most of everyone's bugbears SHOULD be good now. Except for that one guy who pointed out the AK47 Piston cover has no holes. It still has no holes. Videos of some of the changes PSG1 Changes AK Soundshaders (early testing) M134D = Unpractical and noisy (No seriously, 1 ammo box per backpack.2 if it's a carryall.)
  9. I can promise, in a roundabout way, two of these things are coming in the immediate future.
  10. The Geiselle SMD is mine. Check your PM inbox shortly. I'll put it up publicly shortly also. Honestly, the bloat is more concerning only really from the perspective of in game. Actual construction of the things is less so, as long as you have a know list and can organise well TBH. That's an important one. Will sort out.
  11. Qualified yes. So, the story is that our service pit was partially flooded (and Telstra being Telstra, not maintained, so nothing was weather shielded or even wrapped in a plastic bag ), and water was running down the interfaces between like 3 houses.... They fixed that, but we had a freak rain storm about a day after the techie came through and the service went to shit again. So techie's coming out again and I'm going to fucking hawk-eye the guy until he does the job right. Meanwhile, Eden update came out, which brought with it the updated environmental "Soundshader" tech, which I'm now implementing. I mean, now it's basically complex enough that I should probably ask like Laxemann to help (even though I know he's 300% swamped with other projects), but I can bridge the gap until I find an audio tech that's comfortable with it. Here's a sample. It's worth noting that the setup I'm using is trying to blend what I had with BI's default sounds, so eagle ar might notice I'm using Katiba and Mk20 sounds at distance(they do the job).
  12. Actually I dropped it because I personally got legitimately displeased with it. There was just enough things wrong with it that I wanted to redo it. I will admit I hadn't actually planned on them specifically, but if there's a demand, I'd certainly consider it. Well, if you can find some reliable data on the actual specs and performance of .280 British, maybe. Someone's commissioned some Sig full-frame pistols off me not too far away, so far I'm committed to the 226 family but I wouldn't rule out the 250 frame maybe getting a lookin. Armaholic, Six, my own hosting (page 1), and Steam Workshop (except the AUGs, which are giving me shit when I'm uploading them there).
  13. More or lerss this. With CUP specifically, it's more to do with most of the models falling under existing licenses that aren't per-se compatible with APL-SA. That too. It'll depend entirely on what needs to be done as to the exact go/no-go on it, but if the 1921/1928/A1 gets done, it'd be a safe assumption the M1A1 gets it too.
  14. If they're the ones under [s2] Still A Lime, then yes. Those are me, and I update them. A4? Sure, I guess. I mean, there isn't anything it does that the SG1 or KA4 do at the moment. but whatever. Tracers, eh. I mean, I get why, but, I'm erring towards no . Reason being essentially is while you CAN get..say. .. .308/7.62 NATO in other colours than NATO's Strontium-Magnesium Red, it's kind of a specialty round. Same goes the reverse for "opfor" calibers- You CAN get rounds that don't come in Barium Salts green, but they're niche or specialty import. IR-DIM rounds however, I think I can get behind, so expect those in applicable platforms. yep, noticed. I did a quick check of all the GLs after I fixed the G36s ones, and this seems to be a theme. Expect it to be good in the next patch. Already fixed ;) While I'm at it, I originally was planning to put out the bulk of patches this week. UNFORTUNATELY, my internet connection, which has slowly been getting worse over the year, basically has bottomed out in the last month- I'm not getting much more than dialup speeds over it, and the fault seems to be somewhere on the physical telecomms side of things (knowing Telstra, it's probably in one of their shittily maintained service pits). Anyway, fault's been registered, and they've said that they'll send guys out to inspect sometime between <February 1> and the 17th (Which is effectively 2/3s of February they've given themselves). The rub of this is I'm not putting out anything as large as patches on this connection, so you'll have to settle for them being up around the 20th. Not wasting any of that time though, there's new stuff I'm sliding in with the extra time I now have. As an additonal fun note - the HLC AK packs are now TWO YEARS OLD. Holy COW.
  15. Yep, fixes for the UGL and tracer mags coming very shortly. You know know, I considered doing just the charging handle reload, but I'm a glutton for self-punishment. Also, true fact, the G36 in it's stock config actually doesn't come with the bolt release function, it's a cheap 3rd party extension piece done after the XM8 program, though it seems H&K have been fitting them to export model G36s(I can't find any official acknowledgement of them, they just started appearing on demo models at shows and I'm assuming that they're just the done thing now)
  16. Correct, unlike Alwarren's rig, I'm using a CAT rig on top, essentially to marionette the bones in a non-destructive way. To the second part- as far as I'm aware (someone please correct me if it's not the case), the binoculars are just rigged to the right hand of the character, they don't have their own bone. Same goes for pistols. Honestly, that's because I couldn't figure out any good middle-ground tiers that didn't weren't just placating platitudes. Know about it. Yeah, I deliberately set the Accessory mounts to go weak-hand sided(which makes sense when running lights without pressure-pads),and that makes all dual accessory mounts appear upside down. Was considering it, still considering it. The problem is finding actual good references of the MG36 bipod mount... which isn't exactly common because the MG36 never took off. Yeah, I think that comes down to the nature of how arma handles both the character and object animations repectively. That's an odd one, especially considering the file is there. Huh. Will look into . Anyway, just have to take my word on it for now(not ready to show off anything at this point), but I've started on the MG3s today. Planned as part of it are- static CSW versions modernised KWS version classic MG42 (again with a Lafette tripod Static version) and MG14z (more or less two MG3s in one receiver, probably will be a Static mount weapon... probably.). Plan to have vehicle-proxy-friendly LODS ship with each, so that should be good for vehicles that need a proper buzzsaw. AAAND the HLC packs are all getting the updates on at-as-close-as-my-internet-will-let-me-to 3rd Feb. which'll include (on top of general fixes), G36 source files (which total in size more than the all the released HLC stuff combined on disk) and the new Whizz-bang CAT rig with additional character (Seriously, you have no idea how much having that there helps until you have it taken away from you), and the mysterious re-branding that I've talked about on twitter.
  17. MG42 is being done with the MG3, because there's no point in them not being done together.
  18. Yeah, I haven't uploaded it yet. EDIT Now I have.
  19. Probably should clarify for War Lord here, he's not donating 250 a month HIMSELF, that's total amount per month through patreon. This is entirely reasonable and true- I'm not even going to try and pretend that I'm the only game in town that does what I do, so don't feel you're contractually obligated to support me if you feel you can get a better deal for your specific need elsewhere. Honestly, the way I'm doing it I'm trying to be a more of a public service to the Arma modding and game modding in general than specifically a commission worker, which is why all the stuff I've done in the past 12 months has all been APL-SA for the game-engine content, and all the Source material has been the CC equivalent. All the patreon does is ensure 1) I'm doing stuff people want 2) subsidises the time it takes to keep up a fairly intensive pace (so far, it's mostly gone on pizza and booze on late-nighters, a few hours a month off work, a years hosting and pay forwards about 10% into other Arma-related patreons). Anyway, none of this is constructive conversation guys. If you've got concerns and things, you can drop me a PM.
  20. Guys, come on, chill out. There's no need to get narky here. The way I see it, you're both taking this from opposite ends of expectations- War Lord is saying that contributing to the patreon and getting something on the work list is basically holding me to account of guarenteeing that specific thing being done, whereas lecter is suggesting that I do it of my own volition if I were interested. Here's patented Toadie middleground answer- as much as I would basically like to model every gun ever and say yes to all open requests here, it's not practical by a long shot.Short answer, if it's not on the list, absolutely no guarantees that it'll be done. List = certified development time will be earmarked.
  21. The C-mag is still there, but I never got around to making the dedicated Bipod for it. Whats funny is in the time between when I started research for it and now, BF Hardline somehow managed to sneak in a horrible bastardised one in a DLC(*shakes fist*), so 2015 technically is the year that the SG510 got it's FIRST and SECOND video game appearances ever, but I standby mine still being better. Funny that (I'm onto you DICE *glare*)
  22. LAST Present, and the first one that was technically finished- The SIG SG510 Rifle Family http://imgur.com/a/9TtQL Download Soo that makes what.. 27 unique rifle combinations for 3 months work. I'd say that's honestly not a bad work effort.
  23. Basically that. I was going to have them actually functional, buuut functionality issues held that back from being useful. Also, FWIW to anyone, the zeroing increments are near-as-practical for 100 yards, as on the real thing.
  24. For my next trick, a ghost of Christmas Past- The Springfield M1903A1 http://imgur.com/a/SKoCC Download Link
  25. Yeah, I'll be adding full ACE compats in the first revision.Same with the Tracer mags, which were more of a foresight issue. Didn't have time to sort all those out due to being squarely under the hammer to finish this before new year (when you see the model CFGs in the source releases, you'll see why) End of week, yessir. Yeah >_<, it's literal;y of the first things I actually put ingame, and I was more focussed on the reticle WORKING as it should that I entirely forgot to actually add the Stadiametric rangefinder. First patch (when I patch EVERYTHING, end of January) will add it in.
