    If I wasn't such a pedant with executive ordering issues, less.Significantly less parts, and most sidearms are built around concealability, which cuts down on the number of obtuse external details and whatnot.

    They already have ;) FWIW to those curious, the 228 will have the German Rolled and Stamped slide, and the 226 comes in a similar form also. Speaking of the M11, I've posted this on Twitter, but I probably should bring this across to here. Keep in mind so far I've only done 9mm - Not really, not an immediate concern TBH.

    Short answer, Arma ballistics aren't a single variable damage equation, even without ACE ballistics added to it. Damage is calculated by - Speed : The speed at which the bullet traveling that inflicts the highest damage- as the bullet's speed slows, it deals less damage Air Friction : Controls the rate of decelaration on the bullet. It's simulating the relationship between the ambient atmosphere and the aerodynamic efficiency of the bullet. The less aerodynamic, the faster it bleeds speed. Caliber : Not actual caliber, it's a cover-all number to determine the piercing capabilities of a bullet when it strikes anything. Tin Shed, Body, Body Armour. Hit : Base impact damage. The only way to achieve the full value of this is with the bullet at it's ideal/max speed. Every gun in arma uses these, it's the standard ballistics model. When you fire, all of this comes into play, plus gravity. Speed affects damage, Friction affects speed, Speed and caliber affect penetration of objects (like armor), hit,caliiber and speed determine how much damage a shot will impart. There's no real "best" bullet round for any gun, as what your target is changes which one is more suitable. Subsonic Are GREAT for up close with a suppressor (preferribly not against kevlar), but they're worse than useless for long range shooting, and likewise you wouldn't want to use SPR up close in amongst no-shoot targets. Best advice I could give is if you're ever unsure, EPR/Ball/FMJ is probably fine enough for most blind dates with the enemy. Other stuff is when you know which lipstick you want to paint him with.     Because I am a huge nerd, yes. To help me debug this (because this is a behaviour I specifically patched out) where and when did you download? So I appreciate what you're saying ,but I've no plans to switch back. As much as they were more realistic(technically, most were on some level originally from youtube videos), they didn't play well with soundshaders, and their overall sound quality and mood was too inconsistent and was making them overtly unbalanced when around gunfire from other mods (or just stock assets)

    Releases For the short and skinny of overall patch changes - Across the board hiddenselections have been implemented on all weapons, so all your camo/reskin dreams can come true. If you're into doing that sort of thing, it'd behoove you to check respective classes for more details and whatnot. Huge rewrites to the majority of weapons in the packs, making great use of coding efficiencies and macros. Again, Super special credit to Robalo.     It is, Did a blind check. If you've downloaded the SAWs and you're planning on using CUP or RHS compat, I'd recommend a Re/DL. Will have the All-in-one pack with fixed compats up by tomorrow. From there, we're green for official v7.

Absolutely knocks out the pre-game errors, and comes with some super-whack levels of code optimising and macro usage, courtesy of Robalo (he's worth at least a beer from everyone ever on his own, by the dubs) .Also in it is HiddenSelections, so those who want camo jobs on their guns can make that happen now. If anyone caught it on twitter, you know that I've already had some fun with it-

    That. Was using Github to track bugs before the repo was in use. Shit,Now you've all drawn attention to it, I may as well mention: NIArms is available on GitHub.Entire functioning source base, and has been, discretely, since July. Primarily I set it up to coordinate with YoursTruly and Robalo, but it works with the ethos of NIArms, so eh. The terrible secret is out to air now. All I really ask is that if you do want to make a contribution or a derivative, please create a fork or let me know otherwise how you're using it, just so I don't have to hunt down individuals doing less honourable stuff with it.

    Not sure about the C, the M27 is just a D16.5 with KAC sights, so maybe for that. Ideally what I'd be aiming for is covering the largest coherent grouping of the family (outside of the specifically requested gear). For the 416s it'd be the D10, D14.5, D16.5, D20, and the A5 versions of each. Actually the reverse happened- these come from a time pre-dating any formal HLC releases (like mid-late 2013) when I just ported a bunch of things to arma for me and my friends to mess with,. Most of it I could never release, so it got turfed, but the mags and ballistics I kept just in case. Never know when you're going to need 6.5 Carcano or .303 (actually that second one Might be more close than you think), and I figure that any interested parties could hook them up to their own stuff if they wanted them.

    I was given the impression that the rate-reducing bolts were more or less standard on MG3s at this point (something something extending barrel life), shows me to believe what I'm told. It's still around the 950-ish mark, which is definitely faster than most other MGs though, so it's not like you're missing much saturation. The weight thing, that's comes down to BI's mass value not being any standardised unit, so that value varies wildly depending on who's maths you use. I'll tweak it a bit for you if that sets your mind at ease (same goes with adding KWS selectors, both will come in an incremental). Yes I did get your report ;) Yeah, that's down to the bipod legs- They're longer than what arma predicts are "reasonable" for the character stance. The fix is negate the MG's height advantage while prone(clip some of the bipod into the ground), I prefer the slight bug over that TBH.

    Dangit Rob, you're too fast and 2furious. Good news on that front, when the MG3/42s release (which was going to be this weekend, but I forgot that the 7.92 ballistisics weren't placeholder), you can expect another round of patches out over October. Robalo's doing some amazing under hood work , and yeah, things like cleaning up the compat patches is part of that.

    So, this is a longstanding bug with the way Arma handles += operations on variables in child classes(there's smart people who could give you the full technical on it, short answer is it does not). Now, it can be fixed, but it means that the RHS compat no longer will be a theoretically dynamic PBO: If RHS changes magazines on AKs, Or if HLC changes magazines on AKs, that Compat WILL have to be manually made to include both, and it couldn't be used in conjunction with ACE3 or CUP compats, because it would implicitly be ignored OR over-rule, depending on load order. Does an error appear, or is there anything in the Logs?

    Echoing Warlord, 550/1/2/3 for certain, Tactical and stock iterations definite. Sniper 550 probable also. 556... I actually already have done(old source engine project, linkylink), but I'd rather redo it than shove that off, and it and the 556R and XI are probably going to be bottom of the list for priority purely out of their comparative non-use, Don't be shocked if those don't show up. Yeah the compats specifically are very much use at your own risk, which is why they come with source files shipped, and they're really the only thing that wasn't touched codewise for the patch, so yeah, for the most part they're a little behind. Sig510s don't have an RHS compat because nothing in RHS needs to be made compatible with it (or vice versa), same with the springfields. Regarding the weaponslotinfo warning messages specifically- try removing the SAW pbos, and the main saw PBO itself. IF that gets rid of the WEaponslotInfo errors, then that's two separate sources that confirm I need to re-upload the all-in-one.

Additionally a special thanks to Navaro, who's currently working through overhauling all the sound samples to be both consistent and high quality. Some of that has made it's way into these builds.
