Ahh okay, thank you. I was wondering why the indies couldn't trigger the horde.. Hope someone makes zombies with good animations soon! as this mod needs it bad.. Great script tho mate. You should add different types of zombies and or make a percentage of ambient life hostile as well. any chance you could make it so that instead of dying, your screen gets distorted and you attack your fellow crew members ? and they are the ones to kill you ? I have found a solution to the problem of the markers being seen in the briefing screen. In your mission init.sqf (note: that it does have to be at the top of the init, so it loads first, or it will take some time for the server/computer to run it.) "Marker_name" setMarkerAlpha 0; -

I guess the mags being more dynamic and of a specific pool will be a future thing (I hope) :D The probability I like is 0.6, that way it's more of a scavenger hunt, rather then loot in every house. However, I have been testing with 30 to 50% to better understand why items are not spawning.. Do some debug markers not spawn on purpose ? or is that an anomaly ? I'm also noticing your spawn points love staircases, which your barrel drop tester might break under that condition.. I'll be testing this all day, as I really need this. Will be providing information as the testing goes. Thanx for your reply. Okay, after watching your vid again I can say that markers are meant to spawn all the time. So this leads me to believe some class names may be wrong, or that certain spawn points conflict.. Another thing to add would be: empty vehicles, rare item possibilities, and ammo pools, because explosives are in that pool. For now I'll randomize a few explosive boxes, and attach them to empty markers. Are these objects always on the map or do they delete when you are out of range ? I as well experience the hangup in the load, not to mention an fps hit once in game.. It does settle once all things are spawned, but my fps is about 5-10 lower,, with number of spawned in consideration of course. This is coming up flawless now by the way. I went in and negotiated new terms to the argument, and now it is glimmering with awesome. Thank you very much for this script. -

Hey banga, I'm noticing some things are not spawning, or they are spawning under the house. The map is Altis.. If I spawn 0.6 probability and move to the debug markers, there is almost certainly nothing there. However in contrast, if I spawn 30% probability there is a lot more markers spawned and about half of them have loot at the spawn marker. Still more testing to do on my end, but maybe you could clarify my muck up or if it is in-fact a bug.. I would rather the scavenging be a little more dynamic.. Just a thought -

Well this was easy to set up and use,, thanks banga!.. Any chance you could make rare and a normal pool.. For instance,, I don't want everyone with all the best stuff off the hop,, there could be a really low chance of getting some items, yet a good chance at the more common ? Just a thought.. Would that not require a sleep ? And sleeps brake the briefing screen, and keeps the game from loading. I have tried that line of code, but it still shows as well. -

I'm a man on a mission now, if I figure it out I'll post my findings here. From what I understand,, sleeps in the init break the game and you'll never get passed the load screen,,, so this fix has to be a temporal resize, or jumbling to hide the markers. Like I said tho, if I find any solution, you will be the first to know. Thanks for the reply. A work around that I do use, is unassigning items and the map. It forces the solution by not seeing the brief at all, but my fellow unit act as if the world has come to an end,, even tho all they have to do is go the the box to rectify the shortcoming... -
Short and simple.. I want to disable the vehicle so it can't drive, but I want the slot for the gunner to be available.. I have made a artillery battery,, and I want it to stay on base. Thanks in advance.

And I did have it blocked in, but some people turned it into a game of demolition derby,, and if I put the fuel down, they would just blow it up to get the fuel back up,, and I do not care to run a vehicle function just to keep stupid people from trolling... Could you please address the issue with the briefing screen ? I make your marker invisible, however, when the server is loading in you see the blacked out markers. Anyway you could have them shrink dramatically in the brief and then resize after ? It is very frustrating to go through great lengths to hide the markers just for them to show right at the very start.. I know sleeps are not very good in the brief as it brakes the script, but there has to be some sort of work around for this issue. Thanks for your continued work mate! -
Took a break from the game, but when I came back I saw DLC bundle.. exited I bought the bundle and quickly went to my editor. I did not find a thing.. Can someone explain to me this DLC is ? And why I can't see it in my editor ? I have a lot of items in my editor, thus this post,,,, I'm lost and there is nothing really on the nedt to explain it.... !?!?!HELP!?!?! Thanx in advance I found the karts, but what about the choppers ?

Just would like to know how I would go about hiding markers in the briefing screen. this is what I'm using in my init.sqf, but it still does not hide the markers from the briefing screen. "markername" setMarkerAlpha 0; the fix I'm trying to find myself is where I place an empty marker down and have it changed to the intended marker when needed. Been searching for a fix or work around for months, and about to call this a lost cause.

Yoy, after months of searching, the first plausible explanation! The markers are for Enemy occupation system (eos) I do not want them seen in the briefing screen. They are Area markers. So I guess I can add that line into the init and a trigger to resize it back to where shes got to go... Thank you very much!

You have a game that is falling apart from the editor out, you have chased away a ton of mission designers and scripters. Almost every damn server has so much config or mod changes that most servers can't be connected to (not that that is your fault, but it is death by association I guess,, after all it is your product.) About half of the editor is not working... And to make things even more fun, everything needs to be heavily scripted just to run basic tasks or for jips,, and you guys make karts !?!?!?!? I get that it is a donation thing,, but how about making a nice stable platform for those karts.. just sayin' that some serious issues need to be addressed maybe before you start adding content that has nothing to do with most peoples interest. In case you have not been paying attention,, our community is seriously shrinking, and we are losing valuable modders and scripters in the process. That's my 2 cents.. And no I'm not in a keyboard rage,, I know it kinda looks like it :D Just sick of waiting for nothing! I know I'd pay more just for you to address some real issues!
