Besides the official wiki, is there any more background knowlege about Chernarus?
Especially graphics like coat of arms or emblems (I didn't find anything but the Flag), posters, etc but also any type of texts from lets say 1950 to 2012?

another quick question.. on a lot of buildings the windows are separate objects while the rest of the building is merged. i guess it hast something to do with how LOD works.. do you know how it works here?

i'm in the process of creating my own version of the well known Fire Station Building.. mostly just to learn the Arma addon creation process and also because i always wanted to make the fire station fully enterable.
Since its a binarized model and i cant take it apart to check for myself i was wondering what the best practices for such a large scale building would be since it would need a shitload of textures..
is it best to split the building into different parts or keep it as one, make more smaller textures or only a few large ones?
i couldn't find any detailed infos on this.
would be cool if anyone who has done this could share his practices on this.
