Tagline: We enjoy playing tactically, without the politics. Gameplay We play many different games, primarily ArmA 3 Virtual Training Space. Most of our members are involved in our Military Simulation unit, the Altis Military. The Altis Military has a 24/7 Recruitment server under the name ‘Liberated Gaming – Altis Military Recruitment Server’ and requires a small modpack & Task Force Radio to join. This is where most new members meet the guys and get used to our play-style. Wednesday nights at 7PM UKT are training for members who have joined the unit and are looking to learn new skills or recruits wanting to complete their basic training. Sunday nights at 7PM UKT are full operations for members of the unit. Our full operations usually last between 3-4 hours and currently pull in 30+ consistent attendees. The unit is made up of casual players and real ex-military personnel, and combines a mixture of British and American military structure and tactics. When we play on Operation nights, we take the game seriously. About Us Imagine sitting on your sofa with your friends, playing games, joking around and chilling out. We recreate that in a virtual environment. Our community is not a political endeavour, a business or a movement. It’s just a group of mates having a laugh. Based around a group of people from lots of different backgrounds, our community focuses on one thing: No bullshit. Launched mid-2013, all current members share a passion for no-politics gaming and listening to everyone's opinions equally; regardless of status, rank or playtime. At Liberated Gaming, everyone has a fair chance to express their opinion. All problems are solved in Teamspeak - person to person. If you have a problem with someone, you voice it either directly to them or in a meeting in which the matter will be fairly discussed and resolved. Meetings are key here at Liberated Gaming, and all members are invited to meetings. Administrators do not speak more than regular members: everyone gets a chance to voice their opinion in turn. Once someone is accepted into Liberated Gaming as a full member, they are invested into the community, and therefore have full permissions on our Teamspeak. We share the power out between ourselves. We have five assigned Administrators who deal with our treasury, website and public affairs. There is no one individual with absolute power or authority. Requirements - We'd rather you be over 16. If you aren't, we'd ask for a short interview first. - We always need you to be in Teamspeak if you are playing in an operation with us. - We need you to be able to speak English to an understandable level. That's it. See you on Teamspeak! - Reasoner, Administration @ Liberated Gaming

Gaming should be enjoyable, and not a chore. About Us Based around a group of people from lots of different backgrounds, our community focuses on one thing: No bullshit. Launched mid-2013, all current members share a passion for no-politics gaming and listening to everyone's opinions equally; regardless of status, rank or playtime. At Liberated Gaming, anyone has a chance to be a Squad Leader, a Pilot, a Commander. All Server/Teamspeak Administration ranks do not apply in-game, for example a Staff member will not automatically be Squad Lead; roles tend to be rotated weekly or at an individuals discretion. All problems are solved in Teamspeak - person to person. We do not use forums, as we are in agreement that long-winded forum posts just tend to cause friction, argument and tension. If you have a problem with someone, you voice it either directly to them or in a meeting in which the matter will be fairly discussed and resolved. Meetings are key here at Liberated Gaming, and all members are invited to meetings. Staff do not speak more than regular members: everyone gets a chance to voice their opinion in turn. In regards to Server Administration (not in-game ranking), the roles are kept to a minimum and are as follows; Staff: Access to Dedicated Server Box. Fixes problems in-game and out of game to do with software and networking. Moderator: The people person. Dedicated to sorting social problems, removing people giving hassle and keeping everyone happy. Trusted: Someone we can trust on Teamspeak. Can remove people giving hassle for limited periods of time, nothing else. Member: The standard, the usual. We are currently working with an Administration and Moderation team of 6. This will never change. There is not one over-arching leader who makes all decisions. There is no dictatorship. Everything is voted on and everything is discussed. Gameplay We mainly play Arma3 VTS, Arma2 VTS and some Insurgency. We also have one or two training missions we run for new members. We actively train new Game Masters, so everyone gets a crack at controlling the action. We tend to set designated kit per squad, and each squad always has a Squad Leader. The Squad Leader is listened to and respected during gameplay, but this role does not cross over back into Teamspeak. Requirements - We'd rather you be over 16. If you aren't, we'd ask for a short interview first. - We always need you to be in Teamspeak if you are playing with us. No exceptions. No VOIP unless using for Squad Lead purposes. - No open microphones. It's annoying. - We need you to be able to speak English fairly well. Playtimes We are mainly based in the UK. Sunday every week: setup at 7pm, start at 7:30pm. 10 minutes late allowance. That's it. See you on Teamspeak! - Reasoner, Administration @ Liberated Gaming
