Hello and Welcome, On behalf of the Icarian Government, Her people and the entire Icarian Armed Forces I would like to thank you for your expression of interest in joining the Icarian Armed Forces. As you may or may not be aware Icaria is considered the newest independent country in the world! Situated in the beautiful Mediterranean region and originally colonised by the British Empire in 1750 for its vast resources of salt as well as copper and coal as time progressed and mining techniques improved. Named by British Explorers after the Icarus of Greek Legends due to what they described as “A valley of immense depth and length, as if the ground had been torn asunder by an impact of magnificent proportions far greater than any cannon or musket could ever produce.†In more recent history in 2008 Nationalist Party member Tommy Douthman began to rally support for an Independent Icaria stating “The time has arisen for us to embrace a new millennium and a new future without the Queen and without old Britain influencing our decision for our country.†Gaining much support with the younger Icarian residents, a referendum was called for and in 2012 passed successfully. On the 1st of January 2016 the Republic of Icaria was officially signed into existence. Since then Icaria has been working to bring themselves to the forefront of the world stage. It is in this light that we extend our hospitality and our camaraderie as you make Icaria your new home. Enlistment in the Icarian Armed Forces has been opened to international applications in order to supplement local recruiting to allow for experienced individuals to apply and share that knowledge to this fledgling nation's military forces. Enlistment Options currently open for foreign application are Infantryman/Parachutist - This role within the 1st Parachute Regiment, 1st Icarian Infantry Division, is to find, fix and close with the enemy, to operate as Icaria’s penultimate light infantry force, able to rapidly deploy regionally as well as internationally within 24 hours. Dedication, Initiative and Teamwork are the core values expected of each trooper. Army Air Force/Rotary Wing Pilot - This role is within the Rotary aviation company of the Icarian Army Air Force (IAAF). Flight operations include transportation or personnel, equipment, supplies and vehicles as well as medical evacuation of military and civilians should the need arise. Excellence and Dedication are expected of our pilots as well a drive to succeed in any mission they may be tasked. Derived from many milsim units, we currently specialise in Operation: Trebuchet... Operation Trebuchet is a Halo mod for Arma 3. ODST stands for Orbital Drop Shock Trooper to put it in a milsim perspective its US Army Rangers meets Marine Force Recon meets British SAS. We play Saturdays at 7pm EST, 10pm GMT, but dont let that stop you. We have players from all over the globe, ranging from Australia to the US. This is the issue, I myself have started to pick up and follow along on these tutorials but these are severely outdated. I can get my object, in this case the cube in game and listed in the editor, but there is nothing there in the game, (using VR world if that makes any difference) I have followed this to the letter, but is listed as an empty object. I think it has something to do with, well in regards to wasteland that it requires zero mods to play, many players dont understand how to use mods, and most come from Day Z where they download a launcher and everything is already installed. where many Domination/insurgency use ACE, ACRE etc.

It doesnt matter either way, as many units offer their own servers, only benefit would be that its guarenteed to be up 24/7 but there is enough dedicated around to not matter that much
