  1. ARMA Finland is an open community for Finnish ARMA players. Our biweekly games host around 30-40 players each week and we've had special events of up to a hundred players. Our play style can best be described as relaxed but tactical. We're not big into sir this sir that, but we do have clear command structures and we play to win. We're now seeking for another European ARMA group to organize an event with. At this point everything is still in the air / customisable. We still play both A2 and A3, we are interested in both COOP and TvT opportunities and we don’t really have a long list of mods we absolutely have to play with (A2: ACRE+ACE, A3: TFR, that's about it). The only things we're sticklers about is absolutely no 3rd person camera, preferably no crosshairs and we'd like to play with STHUD on because of our open structure and constantly changing group compositions. Other than that, we're pretty flexible with most things. Basically, we'll have a talk on what kind of an event we'd both like to have. Then we'll make the all the necessary preparations and all you have to do is show up on game day.   3. Unfortunately I can't do that, but for example demonstrates the water color in natural light pretty well. :P
  4. Most underwater pictures are taken under high powered scuba lamps which distort the colors quite a bit. It really, really isn't that green underwater in the Baltic Sea except under rather exceptional conditions and even then, it's closer to this to the naked eye rather than that toxic green hue. Also, the algae blooms that cause the green color occur only during summer months, rest of the year the water is much clearer / less green, in fact during winter months the water is usually crystal clear in most places. One last thing is that even during those crazy algae blooms, viewed from above the surface, the water still looks a lot more blue than it does in AiA currently. I really hope you retouch the colors a bit, because currently they just want to make me puke. :D Here's a suggestion for the color, a screenshot taken in A2 which I then simply color corrected to have a bit more red, quite a bit more green and reduced blue. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/23998871/suggestion.jpg (117 kB)

No, it really isn't supposed to look like that except during major algae blooms in the middle of the summer and even then it's a darker shade of green, not that kind of toxic green. :D But seriously, is that super green water just me and if not, is anything being done about it? Pretty please? :3
  6. Nice work, though as a marine biologist, I gotta say that the waters in AiA TP are suffering from some serious algae blooms. :D In other words, is it just me or is everyone else having super green water as well?
  7. nKey, are you aware that the LR tangent key still occasionally gets stuck? Any ETA on a fix?
  8. This! So much this! Oh god, I nearly wept from joy when I tried out the Abrams for the first time. My immersion goes through the roof with these tanks. <3 The only question is, why the hell did not BIS include interiors in the first place!

    It would appear that the latest update (1.0.0.1) on play withSix is broken. After the update, the mod folder contains only the .bikey file and nothing else. Not sure if this was a real update done by the orignal authors or just six screwing up something, but it would be nice if you could look into it. Thanks!

I scrounged the I44 group names from the cfg files and I'm trying to spawn a group using BIS_fnc_spawnGroup like this _somegroup = [getMarkerPos "testSpawn", WEST, (configFile >> "CfgGroups" >> "WEST" >> "I44_A_Army" >> "Armored" >> "I44_A_Army_Veh_Tank")] call BIS_fnc_spawnGroup; _anotherGroup = [getMarkerPos "testSpawn2", EAST, (configFile >> "CfgGroups" >> "EAST" >> "I44_G_SS_Winter" >> "Motorized" >> "I44_G_SS_Veh_Motorized_Winter")] call BIS_fnc_spawnGroup; But it's not working. Any idea what I'm doing wrong here? Or does that function even work with I44 units?
  11. A question regarding vehicle racks: Cars have a 'real' vehicle rack, which enable you to mount PRC-148s. However, by default the rack is empty, as stated by the wiki entry for vehicle racks. So my question is: is it possible to automatically add a PRC-148 to a Humvee vehicle rack via scripting?
