    User Mission Request Thread

I would like to know if there is a collection of "Good SP Missions", can't play MP cause of bad connection for 2-3 months so i would like to check out some good SP missions. Thanks
  3. Yep, actually i got a special deal with a little computer shop near to my home (Italy-Florence) so i can give them back Processor\RAM\MB\VideoCard for a good discount on a new machine that probably will be i5-6600K (with a cooler ready for OC) 16GB ddr4 2666Mhz or 3000Mhz Gygabyte GTX1060 6GB Reusing my SSDs ;) Thanks everyone again
  4. Thanks everyone for the reply, i'll value a bit better with the christmas period that is incoming :)
  5. Thank you pal, unluckly i think that my MoBo is actually not compatible with DDR4-3000 RAM, probably have to go with some Corsair @2400mhz
  6. Hi everyone, despite being vanished from the forum i'm still playing super Arma3 on my faithfull i52500k, 8gb RAM, gtx 760! Probably i want to upgrade my system soon - and one of my priorities is obviously Arma3! I would like to go for i5 6600k\6700k + 16GB RAM And here the first question - reading some comments, it seems worth to invest on fast speed RAM (3Ghz?) - are those components affidable enough? Second question: i mostly play on 1080p, and i really dont think i'll be changing to any higher resolution soon - is a good Nvidia 1060 6GB a good investment for the purpose? Or also for Arma3 the difference between 1060\1070 is remarkable? Thanks everyone
  7. I don't know if this can help you... I got a i52500k (not overclocked) + 8 gb ram (KingstonDDR3) + GTX760, the game was ok before... (25-35 fps with 1600-1900 distance view) Now i'm using an SSD and the game is a completely different game. Just for helping on increasing performace, it runs really smooth.

Low CPU utilization & Low FPS

If interest someone, I got a i52500k (not overclocked) + 8 gb ram (KingstonDDR3) + GTX760 (nothing unbelievable), the game was ok before... (25-35 fps with pretty everything at ultra but distance 1500-1900) Now i'm using an SSD and the game is a completely different game. Just for helping on increasing performace, it runs really smooth.
  9. I don't know if this is the right section but... I got a i52500k (not overclocked) + 8 gb ram (KingstonDDR3) + GTX760, the game was ok before... Now i'm using an SSD and the game is a completely different game. Just for helping on increasing performace, it runs really smooth.

    So that's it then...? Perrformance

http://www.pcgamer.com/2013/11/18/arma-3-gameplay-video-maxed-settings-at-2560x1440/ :D! I run with a i5-2500k, 8gb DDR3, GTX 760 and not even an SSD. I play with Razer booster and some script improvement on game-launch command line. I keep almost everything on ultra\very high but the distance at 1400-2000, i run 30\40 fps smoothly and the game is very enjoiable. I don't know on big multiplayer servers how is the situation, due to the high- processor dependant AI i think that you cannot maximize the game without an heavy-hardware support. Obviously there are some code\optimization issue, the Video-Card processor usually doesnt work at 100% so probably there are low-level computing that is not delegated to the GPU.
  13. Hi, i'm a bit confused. I'm strucked right here

    Doubt about coop gameplay

:) Guys (and girls) thank you all really! Great community :)
  15. Hi all, i can't play on my PC for a few days but a friend asked me how Coop play for Arma3 works. I only played SP mission since the game release, so... i would like to know if: 1) Both players involved in coop need same MOD\ADDON? 2) One of the two player (or the N players) should be the server, or there are dedicated servers for that? 3) Thank you :)

    Authenticity and Arma 3

In my opinion, and this opinion is builded also watching Youtube commentary videos (jester series, E.G.), what makes Arma3 realism more enjoyable are the players. Because in Arma you do not win, you play. Is a big - different concept. You play, you roleplay your being a soldier.

  18. Thanks for replying my doubts. Great addon, really good work. :)
  19. Really great workup! Grandissimi!!
  20. Hi, i don't know if it is already reported. I was playing a showcase when an enemy soldier hits me. And hits me really bad, i already knew that i was going to die cause of bleeding TPW effect. So i ran searching for a medikit, but i was really slow... i saw an enemy, shoot at him and while shooting i died. Ok, i died so no problem, but the mission report gave me a FAILURE MISSION messages for friendly fire, SRG. MYSELF killed SRG. MYSELF :D there is any way of saving who give you the "deadly" shot so the engine doesnt recognize me as a failing suicider? ^_^
  21. Just "added" this addon before dinner... oh my god, finally the team reacts at my commands! Sorry for them that the end is always the same: death! :D i'm learning game! a question, clicking numbers can be a bit tricky, is just a question of experience+practice getting used to them? Thank you :) and great job
