Thank you for your opinions, here is some more detailed hardware info, I'd prefer to stick with AMD processor line, and afaik my current MB can accept all new/latest amd processors and ofcourse avoid MB change. no to SSD is money/capacity related, I ll wait till prices drop, I ll than just restore windbows drive backup image to new disk... tnx whats the best buy 200 $ gpu these days btw, I never had any experience with sli or crossfire, unfortunately my 650 Ti OC, is SLI disabled so buying another one is not an option :-( so I need to sell this 650Ti and buy new one any good crossfire suggestion ? budget friendly ofcourse ;-) so x16 + x4 pcie is fine for crossfire, dont really have the time for research so I guess I ll go for single gpu option, maybe ati cause of crossfire potential on my MB, never had ati card before so maybe it is time

Not really a arma question Currently I have 650 Ti OC gigabyte 1Gb card installed bought less than a year ago While card is good and performs well in most new games, there is a need to stronger one especially in DCS and Arma3. Question is, if I buy new card and put it x16 slot and this old 650ti oc I move to x4 slot (without connecting anything to it) do I get anything from it being in my system, will it help my primary card to render content or something. I do have second monitor which I could connect to that second card if it would make any sense performance wise. Any 150-200 $ gpu upgrade suggestion ? ( i have 8Gb ram and 4xPhenom @3.2ghz), my motherboard suposedly can handle ati crossfire, but I have nvidia card atm tmx

I know what you mean. But I believe that if my computer/hard drive has issues with writing/reading data files from disks I would be seeing problems in other OS areas and not only in Arma OA. I did many steam verifies and complete deletion and instalation of arma series with no results. Can you tell me about problems you had, did they happen only in OA ? Were you using beta OA or not. And now when you do not have problems, do you use OA beta or not, or you talk about A2. Thank you

thank you for your reply, I do not have any junk installed, appart from steam, some games,office, ms security av I have problems only with OA, arma 2 and 3 saves are fine

same error again in campaign as OP, cant load last autosave and 2 manual save before it, lucky me so I can load 3rd manual save which is 3 hours of play before "Message template Withdrawn not found in core" I have thrown nice amount of money for all arma releases cause I was under impression of arma3 promotion so I start to play arma3 and I couldnt cause of unplayable fps problems with over recomended spec, ok I told myself, gonna play arma2 campaigns while they sort it out.. but no, I have to re live new set of problems, I mean, come on, I had never seen game with save game problems anyway its my fault cause I didnt check forums about product quality fanboys will say that arma is about multiplayer...whatever arma is about me not feeling any good about spent money on it, whole fkn series :-( one of more programmers in bi team should find new job, some things are great and some are worse than bad, so hard to verify saved file ? guess I can't expect a fix for this 4 year after initial report

uh, and I get exactly the same problem many years after, game starts loading which never finishes even start (progress bar does not move) any help on this please, I recently bought all Arma titles including Arma3 and started to play campaign and after a long one I cant move on and complete it :( I tried from old save but it always hangs, how old save game should be, not that I have many old saves from that campaign help pls :) edit - btw I have updated steam version rpt log when loading save game before bitter chill answer to napa scout which leaves me hang at loading screen rpt log when trying to resume autosave after had to endtask hanged arma ....used SHIFT + MINUS to ENDMISSION in front of Napa house to continue... :(
