Iron Front as mod in Arma 2: Combined Operations

Rocks. The most lethal AT weapon in Arma 2 -
I saw in a documentary that the commander and gunner sights can sync on the fly for target acquisition. Is it possible to script this?

I got a p3d error on the Staszów map, unfortunately the printscreen function refused to function. I'll try to re-produce the bug. edit whenever I scroll over one of the towns on the map. Seems to be an issue with this particular structure, or maybe a mispatched effect? Though tbh I didn't try this map before the 1.07 patch -
I see, and I do find it odd that some 3rd party units behave better than others (RHS's T80, the Chally 2).. I also find Arma 3's physics implementation to be odd as well. The T9x is supposedly capable of climbing obstacles up to 1 meter, yet the T100 gets its tracks damaged if you bump into concrete blocks much lower in height. Oh well.

I wonder how hard it is to script PhysX into vehicles so that they don't dolphin-flip whenever they come to a fast halt? Maybe there's a weight variable that pins them better to the ground?

Taviana Island for ArmA 2!
pulstar replied to -martin-'s topic in ARMA 2 & OA - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
That's what I did.. but it seems to be wasted overhead. The map seems duplicated, takes longer to load. Shame. -

Did you manage to get the map without the Dayz units? -
it's easy to confuse the two if you're only into casual wargaming.. but you read up things as you go along :p

Taviana Island for ArmA 2!

I did as you specified vilas, but ended up extracting two large pbo's that take a lot of time to load, not to mention the dayz errors. If I load up only taviana.pbo I don't get the map on the editor list. -
now if only we had maps where BVR dogfighting can become a reality :p

Next up will be the tricky part of how to configure the armour hitpoints to represent the RL MBT. I hope you got your bases covered =D

All in Arma (AiA) - TKOH/OA/A2/A1 merge with A3
pulstar replied to .kju's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
I think that depends on the mods themselves. Try adding the (full) path to the mod's folder in the commandline for AiA shortcut -
I think the tanks behave physically better than those A2 ones imported via AiA.. is it that hard to import the speech files?

uptobox should offer some speed.

ZZZ_CMCD_VehTweaks screws up some ACE tanks.

If they change the title and designs of the robots I think they may be eligible.

these addons should override any custom campaigns. Have you tried adding norrn_dbo_fastrope.pbo to heli_extras.pbo folder?
-
This is the default key. what fails for me is getting the helo to adhere to the dropzone.

The community patch is after the conversion process. -
damn sorry i glanced at it and thought it was the standard-issue Model 101
-
until the A3 samples mod is released, you can import an empty t72 via AiA and crew it with whomever you please.
-
Any plans on including the T600? xD

Which tank crews had radio in WWII beside the Panzerwaffe? Also, you get radio messages from infantry.. was hoping for a bit more authenticity. In war films they used to lug around large radios but I guess something like that would require much more manpower than the devs had.
