  1. Look at my screen shot. The Acog does not line up with anything other than the base of the Iron sight.

    Door opening and closing

AGM has this built in, it is CTRL + Space + mouse wheel. Takes a few fingers to make it work, but its nice when running in a realism unit, the point man can actually partially open the door and bang or frag it if needed. (I know door kickers dont typically bang/frag, but with Arma if you tried to do it true to IRL, the grenade would most likely hit some invisible wall, or someones head and land in the group.) Also, with AGM you can simply hit Windows key while staring at a door and it pops open.
  3. They dont need to remove the sight, I sometimes take the Long range sight off for CQB, it just needs to be raised to a proper elevation.
  4. I love the weapons pack, and the sights. But does anyone else have problems with some of the sights not lining up properly? For example, the M16203 (By Massi) with a standard Acog (Also by Massi) the reticule of the scope is well below the top of the front Iron sight. This is like that with all the Acog scopes, as well as some of the standard Bohemia scopes. http://cloud-4.steamusercontent.com/ugc/46497958311901889/9CEFBB71F641CC5BCD179099CD4D24B577CA89CA/ That is a steam screenshot. Any help would be appreciated.

A Large Fixed Wing transport aircraft for Arma 3

The C5, C17, and An-124 are good for another 40 years with upgrades, hell the C130 has been in service for almost that long. Proof of concept is the B52, F4 (Which is still in service in some countries). You must realize the only thing the Air force really replaces as it ages are the Fighters, even some of those are 30-40 years old, however they have been massively upgraded. And the only way for a C130 to be stealth is for it to be broken up into pieces and transported by electric powered 18wheelers. Those damned things fly over my house every few months at low level, sometimes AC130's, and i tell you good sir, no way in hell will that thing ever be stealth.

    Bad FPS in Full Release

Im running a I7 3770, 16g DDR3, GTX 660 (non TI) standard clock. And i get a solid 40-50+ even in multi, depending on how many onscreen units and how long a server has been up. Before you start crying wolf do this. start the game, go to the editor, put youself on a mountain top. Set the graphics to medium 1080P. Drop your draw distance ALL the way down, turn off AA and all the extra shit, Vsync off, Look around, if you are getting good frames, bump your draw distance up to 1000, If its still good, up your settings a little bit, if its still good, increase your draw distance a little. People MUST realize this game is not like Crysis 3, Farcry or Skyrim. Yes they look pretty, but you can see maybe 700m, More in Far Cry. Yes you can actually SEE further, but there is virtually no rendering, so you are seeing it, but its not rendering anything other than mountain outlines or Forrest tops. In Arma 3, if i jack my Draw distance to full and place a unit within that distance, as long as you have a clear line of sight on it, you will see that unit. (Given a powerful enough scope.) Unlike most other games on the market where it only renders whats 400> meters in front of you. The reason i say this, my rig is meh at best. The Gfx card is midgrade and i still do great with the game, with most settings at Ultra or High, but my View distance is only 1300m, and Object distance or w/e its called is only 800. Also, some things are more CPU intensive, while others are more GPU intensive, you just need to play with your settings and find a good balance with them. (Try launching in windowed mode, then hitting ALt+Enter to fullscreen it. Dont know why but that helped me in beta. (One more thing to try, are the launch parameters, you can probably find them here or on the Steam forums, -nosplash -skipintro -world=empty maxMem=8192 -cpuCount=4 -exThreads=7, Thats my launch parameters, use it at your own risk.) Hope Something i blabbered on about helps. I love Arma and want everyone else to love it too! Peace
  7. Technically, it is a Military Simulator. The reason i say this is because the entire game franchise is based off of VBS, Which to my knowledge, IS a Military Simulator. Off that subject, I totally agree with OP, Implementing Bi pods into the game would not have been that difficult, not saying I don't appreciate the hard work that BI did with the game, but an official statement to yay or nay this would be great for the community. They have the Bi pods ON the weapons already, what the actual flock where they thinking? Weapon resting however, I could see that being problematic what with all the terrain clipping and glitches already. Last night I slipped in between two trees with a tank and it sent it flying into the air for 5 mins. Imagine what would happen if you tried that with a weapon on a log? >.>
