  1. OK, I figure this out after looking for different solutions. I decide to unpack the .pbo files of the missions that I couldn't make run in Dedicated server and notice the player slots where not defined as Playable. I don't know why it work when you load the mission and make sure own PC be the server, but I change those to Playable and run the dedicated server with the new generated .pbo file and now when I connect to the server I get the role selection screen. This is the video that gave me the hint on what to do, in case anyone has similar problems.

Should BI offer official MP servers?

Agree with all your comments. I guess my point is that BI should put more effort in the quality control of the MP servers out there. Dedicated servers under their control that help others understand what is required to have a good MP experience in term of performance, and I actually like the idea to have more telemetry to the user to understand what servers are serious and what are just a PC in a basement running arma3server with not optimal configuration. Same apply to missions as well i guess. I haven't found a server where at the end i want to return, and I'm not a wasteland player.
  3. Hi, I'm been playing some missions that are supported in MP via steam workshop and i can't find a way to run them in a dedicated server. After i download the .pbo via steam workshop, i move the mission.pbo file to a dedicated server and configure it using TADST v2.2. Then i select the mission and launch arma3 dedicated server. When i try to connect to the server my arma3 client just get stuck in the initial map screen and never show the role selection. The arma3 server console shows 5:45:53 Player xxxx connecting. 5:45:54 BattlEye Server: Player #0 xxxxx - GUID: xxxxxxxxxxxxxx (unverified) 5:45:54 Player xxxxxxx connected (id=xxxxxxxxxxxx). 5:45:54 BattlEye Server: Verified GUID (xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) of player #0 xxxxxx However, if i run a server directly on my client PC, everything runs fine but i want to run the missions in a dedicated server. This happen to multiple missions, i haven't test in all thought. The ones that actually work are the ones that i get when i connect to others dedicated servers and then get the file from my user/arma folder any ideas? thanks
  4. I'm been reading about how connecting to a wrong server can bring a very bad MP experience in term of performance (FPS). I personally have a great performance when playing scenarios and everything related to SP but I haven't spend much time in MP yet. I wonder if BI should start supporting some official dedicated servers where they can guarantee from the server perspective everything is fine tuned and provide a more enjoyable experience. Many games does have initial official servers until they figure things out, tweak to provide optimal performance, etc. Then, they offer the options to support custom servers but now with more detail data on how to run it. With Arma 3 and the fact that everyone can setup a server in even low performance machines, the probability to play in these bad servers is very high. BI should make some proactive work on getting some good servers by their own.
