    First, no, they didn't change their minds because it was un honorable. They were gonna do it, but set backs such as fleet warfare just miles form their homeland, and one of the three Sub-Carrier Hybrids were compromised. Yes, Japan ha 3 Aircraft Carrier Subs. Second, the AA setup is for versatility/interception. That is why it has 4 long range missiles. Also, the ALCA is decently maneuverable, so it can some what hold up in Air to Air combat... given you have a moderately skilled pilot. ---------- Post added at 14:59 ---------- Previous post was at 14:58 ---------- MistyRonin and ThePilot, please keep on topic here.     The ability of Auto joining servers with mods, or in other words, you join a server with mods you don't have, and as you are joining it gets the mods for you, would be a major improvement, and a dream, instead of being forced to look through every mod enabled, and hunt them down yourself. Would be fantastic. Would bring me back to the days of Doom.
  3. Now, lets watch it maneuver like that with a FULL Payload. =) Seriously, a slight tweak, but in my opinion, it is tad over done with the maneuverability. Maybe an F-18 without a few guided weapons under its wing wouldn't do to bad maneuvering like that, but... It should really be more along the lines of a minimum radius turn. And even that isn't with full payload. Matter a fact, that is zero payload, and less than 90-80% fuel.

    Well, that is expected. AI are AI. Since the beginning of gaming, it has, and is almost impossible, been able to make AI out do a thinking person. I doubt BI can solve that issue now. Don't expect AI to out perform much. They are already doing the best they can at their current state. Though over time, they will become even smarter.

    You are right to that aspect. Having modern age civilian weapons is a good idea, in terms of weapons in different scenarios. I can guarantee that by the time the last campaign episode is out, there will be more guns.

    One thing. Tanks are not weak. But rather, the reason they get destroyed is because the people who don't know how to keep them alive. I know that first hand. I've taken shots after shots for days, and survived them all because i used cover, technique, terrain, and fire power. I mean seriously, they are pretty darn strong if you ask me.

    It isn't about the weapons, it is all about what assets that the players will have to their disposal at the time. Being 2035, i am very sure that even though MX's have been adopted, doesn't mean that is all you will see 100%. There should be variety to what is used depending on the situation. You can look at Funker Videos on YouTube all day long and a ton of the weapons they use, will most likely continue to be used. M110's are going nowhere fast. Now of course, running around with a Lee En field is not something practical. But besides that point, the whole thing i am trying to get here, is a game mode created by the community, to be really immersive. Gameplay that includes variety for situations, and intensity that will make you want to duck down when things get real. Make you think on your feet, as a team, as well as in small squads working together for a common goal. But as i said before, it is simply an idea.

    Or better yet, BI could implement some civilian weapons in those terms. By Exotic how ever, i would like a wide variety of weapons depending on the factions. For example, multiple guns used by countries underneath the faction "NATO". Gus for CSAT (Opfor) and Greenfor. Of course, these have to be guns that fit in the Armaverse Era. 2035.
  9. Hey, are they ever going to tweak the maneuverability, because i swear to you i could out maneuver an F-22, SU-37, and SU-50 in this thing. A little bit over kill with the turning.

    Which is why this would be an addon, so that anyone interested will go through the process of getting it as apposed to those who are, not so much for Immersion.

    Yes, very much so an opinion. but one question for you, in your opinion, do you really believe enhancing that realism aspect is a bad thing?

    Hmmm, good point. Maybe keep this as a back-up solution, just in case things to turn out the way we expect, or, possibly this could be something of a community project.

    Yeah, umm... About the "sound" wise, not so much. Yes, they have different sounds, due to different content (guns, vehicles), but the sound system itself, could use Uber-Ultra-Mega-Astronomical fixes, or maybe even a complete make over.
  15. Breathing noises are fine in first person. Believe me, you run as long as they do without stopping, and listen to yourself gasp and choke for air. Maybe your volume was up all the way? Other than that, i would love to see a feature where when a player comes under fire, or something along the lines of life threat, the fatigue effects kick in extra adrenaline so the player can run just a little bit longer.

    Well, it was due to the fact other companies and politicians felt they had to do what ever it took to destroy it, i guess you can say it was too powerful, but in the end game, it was simply like coming out with the next best thing. The next best technology. It was great. But of course, corporate politicians as usual. It was such a pride to Canada. Until the days turned dark. Although, there is hope. Take a look at this picture.     Hey, don't forget who put America in space. Canadian Engineers and Scientists, and Aero Experts decided to put their knowledge to use in NASA, after an Industry sabotage on Aero Canada, leading to the destruction of the Avro Arrow. The Canadians back in the cold war were world renoun for producing the best titanium alloys used in war plane designs, and technology at that time, far better than that of the US. unfortunately, after the cold war, and the collapse of Avro Canada, it is sad that after such success with those designs and technology, they didn't brush it off and start something better. Now all that good stuff was learned here in the US. Although, Russia is now the one who took it to be the best in Titanium Alloys. Back on topic how ever, i could see BI going with some sort of Trexton Scorpion Stealth make over or something along the lines of that. not sure though.

    Would be great if even the BI Devs took a look at these, just to remind them how it could be, and how they can look upon improving what they have now, and future things they bring to the table.

    Here are my thoughts regarding Flares/Countermeasures for aircraft. If you listen when they dump flares, you can hear a low puff, and than hissing. Would be a nice feature instead of having flares sound like an under slug grenade launcher.

    Outstanding work. Keep it up, i would love to see a great decently sized weapons pack addon like yours for Arma 3 sometime in the future.
  22. I always played on your server when it was up, and it was hands down one of the best. If i find the time, i would probably work on making a more wide scale version of your TTWF. Placing both teams at an airfield, and using almost the entire map for stable game-play. But as f right now i am not too sure how much time i have on my hands. I would how ever like to see a released version of your mission file and see if me and a few others can think of some things to improve the game play as it is.

    Hey, you guys should help me with this, could use an up vote now that i think about it. http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=15214 Also, if there is no spread, didn't they have spread before? There should be slight spread, and they should criss-cross at about 300 meters.

    Also, it just occurred to me, how much time it would take. New sounds and all. But hey, maybe after all the campaign is released and they've nothing else to do.
