It happens with and without mods. Seems to mostly occur after around 45mins of gameplay. I'm going to reproduce the error later and provide an up to date RPT without any mods running.
System Specs:
CPU: i5 760 @ 3.6Ghz
RAM: 4GB Corsair DDR3
GPU: MSI 560ti
OS: Windows 7 32bit (I really need to upgrade to 64bit... Got the disc and everything...)
All my temps are fine and the game runs well (40-60fps). My FPS doesnt degrade over time its just all of a sudden, it drops to like 2FPS and I get low quality lods as shown here when I was playing the campaign: http://tinypic.com/r/2luumv4/5 - Note as well that its at the start of the mission, I'd been playing previous missions so maybe the old missions were still in the memory? I dont know :D
I had exactly the same issue in A2 but that was caused by a JayArmA2Lib memory leak and using "flush" seemed to help then, it doesn't work in A3. Once the guys had fixed the mod (a lot of people had the same issue) it was fine.

After around 45mins to an hour I get a horrible fps drop (2-3fps) and texture LOD problems.... Happens both singleplayer and mulitplayer, with and without mods. Also just happened when I crashed my heli in to the sea, somehow it wasn't damaged but I got the problem as soon as I hit the sea?
I think it might be a memory leak?

Looking for a British/European milsim squad that takes the missions seriously but can have a laugh as well. The use of ACRE is a must and I don't mind having to download additional mods to play. I have quite a hectic schedule due to work and other commitments so I may only be available 1 or 2 nights a week and some weeks I won't be available at all. I've played ArmA for ages so know all the ins and outs and have moderate knowledge of British TTPs.
I've got both A2:CO and A3. I'm looking to play A3 properly in the near future but can understand that squads don't want to move until certain mods/features/maps etc have been implemented so I'm happy to play A2 until then. :)
If anyone has a place for me then shoot me a PM.

I can't for the life of me get this to work :/ Put a group down, called the script and they just stand there doing nothing.... Got marker, added p1 to init, any ideas? :S

Think that is a different issue MacScottie. For me, I can play perfectly for around 45mins and then all of a sudden my FPS drops to around 2-3, no matter if Im moving, standing still, looking up/down, map screen, whatever! Using the flush command doesnt fix it and textures stop rendering properly (see screenshot in my previous post).
I had this issue in Arma2 and it was caused by a JayArma2lib memory leak. This is the same thing except the actual game is the issue and not a mod.

Still cant bind a PTT key to a keyboard key when ACRE plugin is active :(

Also my textures start messing up big time as well as my FPS dropping to like 2...

Just a though, but maybe you guys could try that: press SHIFT + '-' (shift plus the minus key on the numpad) it will open an invisible console. Now type FLUSH.I often had the problem you mentionned in arma 2 and that often helped me to temporarily solve the problem.
I hope this help.
Had this issue and tried the above solution (like I did in Arma 2) and it didnt help.
Please fix this memory leak issue!!

Put the code in your init.sqf then create markers called roadblock_1, roadblock_2 etc.
The marker will magically turn into a roadblock :D

Is there anyway to check in a trigger if a task is complete before setting another tasks state?
IF "task1" is "completed" then set "task2" assigned type function?

I would do that but I'd like all the tasks created at the start of the mission so they can be read in the briefing.

Hi guys,
I was wondering if anyone has any info on how to use parent/child tasks properly?
Also, in a trigger thats to be viewed by all connected players, what could I put in it to check that a task is completed before setting another task as assigned? Using the in-game notifications etc.

Btw I should probably have been clearer. The briefing and tasks work fine but the notifications show up blank for me.

Yeah, I'm working on a new version that actually has more features (including the dreaded respawn, script "events" and a few other things). No eta, though, it's on backburner for now (until I satisfied my need to make a few missions first, heh)Awesome! Cant wait :D

and yeah, its 1GB, recent drivers and RAM timings are good.
