    Killoch, it looks like at least a vanilla backpack or two is deleted in the arsenal when I install your mod, not sure if you knew about this or if it's intended but I know for certain that Coyote Field Pack is taken off the menu when this is installed. Will look at it more when I have time to see what else might be missing.

    Arma3 - AGGRESSORS

    I'm trying to use this for an ALiVE Insurgency-type campaign and I noticed while testing that the Middle Eastern Aggressors have the same American male sounding voices as Nato, does anyone know why this could be potentially? Thanks. Maybe it was just never a priority.
  3. I didn't even notice that option initially, thanks! If I have a backpack, I can get the tablet in and the option works after assigning that key. Are you not able to keep the tablet on your vest or uniform? I can only get it into backpacks, it seems.
  4. I have version 1.1.23.150604, which I believe is the latest. I did restart several times and tried different keys... I'm not sure what could be wrong. I made sure I was only running ALiVe to rule out any mod conflicts.
  5. Okay, so why won't the Combat Support Tablet work or even go into my regular inventory on the Quick Start Showcase for ALiVE? I have to spawn a backpack that it will go into and then key 20 which i have bound to "\" doesn't do anything at all. I have a laser designator. Is this mod broken due to an Arma update or what? Thanks. I'm trying to learn how this mod works and if it's bugged, I can't rightly do so.
  6. Has anyone else had the issue of none of the underwater guns showing up? (mp5 variant and AS Val?) I'm also not seeing the VSS Vintorez at all. :( EDIT: It looks like these guns only don't show up in any type of virtual arsenal display. Using old VAS, they show up and I can use them with some messing. Looks like the Mk. 23 variants also don't show up in addition to anything else I may have missed in virtual loadouts.

  8. I couldn't figure this out, but everytime I have installed any version of Alive, even if I allow manual saving with the module, I can't save the game while playing. Can someone tell me how to fix it? Thanks.

    I can confirm the attachments still don't seem to work with VAS. If anyone has a clue what to do, I'd appreciate it.

    Thanks for letting us know, Nanucq. Hopefully we can get this VAS business sorted with Tonic. I will try and take a look later when I have time. I'm no guru either. I have almost no experience with this game's stuff in particular.

    Issue since updating to 3.2 on Stable: I tried this before it was said that 3.2 works with Stable and I had issues attaching r3f accessories through VAS onto the r3f guns. That is, when it brings up the option to attach optics to the gun or put into inventory, if I put it right onto the gun, it doesn't appear and isn't in the inventory. If I put the optic in my inventory first, then attach it manually it works. Since it was said it works on Stable, I have the same problem. Additionally, and I just saw that someone mentioned it above, saved kits in VAS with optics from this mod attached to the weapon are bare upon loading, the optic disappears entirely. This wasn't an issue for me in 3.1.
  12. Hello everyone, after installing ALiVE I have noticed I can no longer save games on certain scenarios through the 'Save' button in the escape menu. It is now greyed out. Why is this? Once I disable ALiVE, I can save normally. Edit: Should I simply disable ALiVE when running other normal scenario-type missions?
  13. Thanks kibot. I also noticed something else strange, maybe you can explain, I noticed that if i set the prefab assets to true when manually placing, if I preview it in editor, it randomly creates an Outpost or Barracks, etc., as it should in the zone but once exported, there are no prefab assets while playing the mission. EDIT: It seems after several resets of the game, the prefabs are now appearing for some reason.
  14. In addition to not being able to complete the in manually placed version of mission, I have noticed I have god mode on in the manually placed zones version as well.... I don't know why. EDIT: An Init change setting for allowing player damage had to be set to true after messing about. Makes sense. Not sure what line of code will equal completion of mission on capture of all zones but I'll keep looking.
  15. Quick question. When placing zones by hand, I have noticed if I capture them all, it doesn't end the mission. How do I set it to complete once all zones are captured?
  16. Okay, yes I see the GameLogic object. So I put in the code just for HQ in that object or I put code for enemy zones as well in there? I currently have: Intel i7 3770K 3.5 Ghz 6gb Ram Geforce GTX 670 FTW+ 4GB Win 7 After some tweaking I can get decent FPS for several hours. I do run mostly on Ultra, though.

One more question, when it says to put things like _null=["OP Xander",20,200,getpos this,true,false] execvm "initZones\createzone.sqf" in the 'Gamelogic' does that mean I generate a Gamelogic object and put that text into the initialization Box or what? ---------- Post added at 18:43 ---------- Previous post was at 18:42 ---------- Mostly, yes.   18. Yes, this ties into my question as well, I see both, and one doesn't work. It's confusing. When I try to change it and export, it pulls out all the code from the mission and im just sitting in the water.

I've placed the files so I can open them in the editor and as I said, I changes values in the INIT, the problem is I don't seem to understand what to manipulate (The Gamelogic?) to place my zones in the editor. It states something in the INIT about (In the Gamelogic... and then there are lines of code. I don't know where you type that stuff in, if you even do. I exported the mission as is (that is, I changed nothing), and in scenarios, it's a blank picture scenario and if I load it, I am simply sitting in the water with nothing initializing.
  20. Could anyone explain to me where I put the INIT file so I can manually place zones? I just jammed the pbo and folder next to it into my missions folder and the mission works but I can't manually do anything, despite having changed values in the INIT. Do I somehow do that in the editor? Thank you.

    Hey everyone, I love this mod and just downloaded 3.0. While 2.0 has worked great since I started using it, since upgrading to 3.0, whenever I play singleplayer and save my game, upon loading the saved game, it greets me with the results of mission complete screen/a view far above altis and it doesn't load. I can't load any save on any scenario, and resuming after saving and quitting does the same thing. Any idea why this might be? Thanks.
  23. Thank you both, and yes that was the issue, everything is working great now!!! I am currently using steam version of the mission and was wondering how to add more slots to the VAS for more loadouts...Do I need to download the regular extractor and modify a config file to do that? Because I can't seem to find where steam workshop stores files. Sorry for these stupid questions.
  24. Hey guys. Kibot, thanks for this great mission, it's awesome and I have spent many an hour playing it. I have a question for anyone willing to help. I would like to add custom weapons from mods into this mission for myself. Now I would assume I would have to somehow put the weapons in a crate somewhere on the map? Is there anyway I could add them to the Virtual Ammo Box System (Armory), at the base? Also, I've noticed I can't open the mission in the editor. Is there a program i need to unpack it so I can edit it? Thanks alot.
