I didn't mean to suggest that you were responsible for ACE damage. :) But even when using the drop down, there is a limit to how far you can drop without damage (obviously). I was hoping to just tweak it upwards a bit. (PS: I used this mod for a long time without realizing the drop down feature was there... I found it by happy accident)

This mod is great - big fan of the movement part of it. :) I'm wondering, though, if there could be an option (userconfig?) for setting how high you can drop without experiencing damage, or adjusting the damage amount? A bit too high with this, and ACE (at least I think it's ACE doing it) damages every part of the body, and bleeding, and pain (we call this the "starfish" ... as in the position one must be in to experience such damage ;) ).
  3. Looking at the Respawn Module... pretty straightforward, two options. But if I read the wiki, I see text that was pulled verbatim from the AGM mod, which wasn't explained there, either. I did a search, but couldn't come up with anything. "remove bodies of players after a configurable interval (in seconds)" How do I configure the interval? I'm working on a mission where I'd like supplies to be limited. Players are respawning with what they had when they died, which is great, but then when they get back to their corpse they can pilfer it for all it has. I'd like to clean up the player corpses within a few seconds of death. Thanks in advance for anyone willing to assist. :)
  4. I'm annoyed at myself for not thinking of it sooner, as it's usually part of my normal troubleshooting... but I disabled my AVG Free antivirus and the game launches perfectly, like it should. Even after AVG comes back on (I just disabled it for 10 minutes and tried starting the game), it doesn't seem to affect stability. Why it won't let the game start, but has no problem with it while it's running... well, who knows. So my problem is "resolved" inasmuch as it's not a Bohemia issue. Thanks to razazel for the offer of help, and I hope the other folks having the issue can find a resolution as well. I guess all I can add is "try disabling your av".
  5. Hi razazel, Weirdness for me, too. Game worked perfectly two nights ago... now it won't even launch. I've tried with the launcher and no mods selected, and with Arma3Sync with lots of mods selected (bypassing the launcher), and I've opted out of the Steam Beta programs... the game just crashes before it even loads, as there isn't a .rpt file in my appdata folder even created for these runs (I see the crash report zip does have my last three successful rpt files, though, so that's good). I tried deleting just the dlls in the dll folder and let Steam replace them... nothing. I tried removing the arma3.exe and redownloading from Steam... nothing. I deleted everything in the folder and let Steam redownload the entire game... still the same crash. Multiple reboots... ensured I was up to date on Windows updates (these are honestly always suspect to me...) The only things I've done on my computer since the last time the game worked was install Windows Updates and install a new program I bought Mirillis Action! (which I had the trial installed for during our last session, and it worked perfectly). I'm PMing you the link to the crash report that was prepared. Thanks for any assistance you can provide. :) Marc
  6. Love these cars :) Is there something wacky with the Steam Workshop? I got a notification of a new comment, but when I try to go to the Workshop for this mod I am told that it's hidden or I don't have permission to see it. Which is odd, as I've commented on it already there. I download the mod from Armaholic, anyway.
  7. To be fair, it hasn't even been 24 hours yet. ;) ---------- Post added at 06:12 ---------- Previous post was at 06:11 ---------- That would be great!
  8. Aha, much better :) I, being clever (so I thought) turned off all of the built-in plugins so that the new one would stand out. I turned back on Link v1.2.0 and I did get ARMA2OA to link with Mumble. I have to wait a bit for someone else to come on to test it with me, but it looks promising. Thanks for the updated instructions - much clearer! :) Update: Works very well. Some weirdness when two people are in the same HMMV, but sitting in a chopper it worked fine. Very nice - thanks! Instead of 70m and 0%, I set mine for 70m and 30% - that way I can *always* hear people, they're just really quiet if they're far away. We spend half our time talking about non-game stuff, so don't want to completely mute people just because they're far away. The trick was trying to find an unmapped key for the channel shout (which also works perfectly)... between ARMA2 and ACE I think INS was the only unmapped key. :)
  9. I have the mod, and I have mumble. I copied the mod into the folder and added it to my launcher (I load lots of mods, trust me that this part was done right). Do I need to copy the dll file into the Mumble plugins folder? Even when I do, the plugin doesn't appear in Mumbles list of plugins so I can't change the parameters listed (min volume, max distance). The instructions are a little light, so could anyone advise how they got this to work? Running ARMA2: CO 1.6.3

    ArmA 2 Game Launcher

Excellent - thank you very much. A bit of search/replace for new path names and it worked perfectly!

    ArmA 2 Game Launcher

Is there a way to move an install from one computer to another without having to completely set up all the mod groups and mod load orders again? I looked for the config files in the usual places (Documents, AppData) but didn't see anything that looked like it was storing the mod orders or groups. Thanks :)
