a frame limiter isnt going to help here. im dropping to 0 frames. i dont really have a lot of options HDD wise. Im already running a WD Caviar Black, and i dont have it in my budget to get an SSD. Jeez, i've never played a game that's so picky about hardware. Im guessing its the server though, it was being hosted by a friend.

ok, i didnt know i had to change it not in the options. i'll try that. just thought it was funny since my friend has the exact same setup except with an i5, and he has zero issues.

Hey, not sure if this is the right section, though i think it is. But, i've been trying to play coop with some friends (i will try this in SP to confirm its everywhere, but i havent done that yet), but the game is unplayable. every half second, i drop from 60 frames down to 0 FPS,then back up, constantly, back and forth. the game looks like slideshow because of it. I'm running with all AA disabled, and everything on the lowest possible setting. it was defaulted to high, and i had the same issues. here's my hardware. GTX 560 TI 1 GB. i7 2600K, no overclock 8 GB RAM Vista 64bit. not having issues in any other games. If this has already been posted, feel free to delete this or whatever, just wondering if anyone has this going on or knows of fixes. I'm just worried that its a hardware issue on my end, because i have a friend who's running the exact same card and a stock i5 2500k, and isnt having issues. Thanks for the help in advance! EDIT: ran some single player stuff. no issues. could it be my connection to the server?
