I just got Arma 3 and as soon as I got in game everything seemed fine. It was not until I attempted to move my player, with the wasd keys, that the game froze for several seconds, and then returned to normal. The only way that I could move was by tapping the W key and slowly going forward step by step, this was the only way the game would not crash. It appeared that everytime I would hold down the W key or any other movement key then the game would freeze. So far I have only tried playing the infantry and the diving showcase missions. I dont understand why this is happening. Im not sure whether this is some sort of bug or whether it is a problem on my part. Can someone help?
My laptop specs are:
CPU : Intel i7 - 2670QM
Graphics Card - AMD Radeon HD 6770m
I have DirectX 11
Im running windows 7 Home premium
I have 8 GB of RAM
