Definitely good to see any improvement in the NVG effect but I think there's room for much more. It's something that gets used a lot in Arma and I'd love to see a more convincing implementation than green-with-grain. I'm thinking greater contrast, more bloom and a greater drop-off over distance, ideally configurable per-device so varied generations of NV gear could be differentiated.
A quick example using the in-game Bloom and Contrast sliders;
Custom (Bloom 200, Contrast 125)
I think the second looks more authentic and it's good for gameplay if NVG don't offer what is essentially vision equivalent to operating in daylight (though still much better than the pitch-blackness which was otherwise in effect in that scene).
That´s very nice indeed. The "future set" isn't right we cant extrapolate that the nvg will be basically a green filter for a daylight equivalent.
My con about the NVD is about the max VD shouldn't be clear there must be a blur distance associated.

...the compass is too small in the map screen! You can't read the degrees, so it makes intersection/resection and other land nav essentials very difficult. This is very important to me because I play without extended map info so I need to use this to navigate and find my position.
No need to read the degrees, just aim sighting wire to the object. The compass`s baseplate straight-edge automatic rotates to the designated degrees, draw coincident line on the straight-edge and choose another azimuth for an intersection.

yeh sorry 29 oct 2016.
My current setup was made for day light :
Brightness: 1
Gamma: 1
Brightness: 102
Contrast: 124
Saturation: 131
Switching contrast helped a lot.

im getting pitch black in stratis near the lighthouse in the spartan place 2016 oct 16 24h

Nice, land navigation is now complete with intersection (cant drawn straight lines) more navigation tools in development?

Love the grain, about the moon you are right even in full moon its pitch black.
Off-topic: the moon calendar isn't quite right....

Did anyone notice the shell casing sound? Some like an echo or multiple shell casing bouncing its more noted on the MAR-10.

Also i will test it out
Is it possible to divide the limp for each leg and when both are 1, the avatar only walk in prone?

No, not universally. Also, you won't see crap if your eyes are accustomed to the nightvision. In addition, the green glow from the eye goggles gives away your position if you do not use the rubber pieces to "seal off" the gaps between goggle and face.
untrue, you can look around, the nvg push the amount of small lights in the environment to the human optical aperture. Even my mine pnw-57 - Gen 1 im able to look around, the rubber acts more like a optimal eye relief distance for better use of it.
Added: Improvements to Night Vision grain (WIP)B) cant wait to see...

The Arma future is in the past....

Also the FOV needs to be reduced (40º) and the need for grainy screen due to the phosphorus screen, there´s should the a trade-off for using nvd.

Due to feedback tracker not working...
Launcher version: 1.4.135743Game version: 1.59.135743Branch: developmentIn the launcher the Portuguese language doesn't work, so far is the only language where this occur. -
IRL chemlights dont emit as much light as the game do

This is more related to targeting improvement than the fixed wing flight model, is it possible to narrow the wipeout FOV / increase view default zoom. Dont look natural unlike DCS or others simulators.
Both MCFD are useless, one side could be the map and the other for target scanning
In the multi-role CAS plane is more important to zoom enemies objects on the ground than fighter jets with the vanilla FOV for peripheral vision, its necessary for the GAU-8 for low flybys.

You are right but also no one crawls with the weapon on the back, the sling is primary used only for resting.
Devs, its just common sense use it wisely...
in normal carry one point the weapon needs to be higher or will turn into a pendulum swing when hits the legs
hasty, can fall from the shoulder
OFF-TOPIC: Also the Thigh / Leg Holster only works well in a urban environment. The best config is to use in the chest if not starts wobbles and wiggles all over the place not to mention losing magazines if there isn't a lanyard loop.

This is a hard one to please everyone...
Dont turn even more Arma to a COD or BF.
Switching on the move may only occur in a walk situation: due to a primary malfunction; out of ammo or CQB (buildings) transition where big guns lose. No one switch to a less powerful gun just because so. And switch to a rocket sprinting, it needs stability(rest) due to the massive weight.
Rapid transition - normal carry 1 sling point
Normal switch RPG/Primary - Rear carry
Hasty carry don't work in a run, the gun will drop to the ground

The new sounds are wonderful, in "air superiority" it´s a "win", the sounds of 50. cal; falling debris; rockets. Its a full immersion into the game, only missing more bass (low freq.)to mimic earth vibrating due to explosions and long travel sound. Off-topic: complete the audio, smoke columns needs to be higher and long duration...

Do they have an updated version on the dev branch? Is that what you are saying. Or referring to the update Nexus.
There is a lot more tweaks after 10-Nov.

RC testing for update 1.54 (Nexus Update) has
startedconcluded. -
every change-log about stamina was implemented or it was a primitive stamina version? Dev-branch stamina now feels better than the earlier stages of the new one.

Is it possible to update this mission in all factions with the new DLC weapons/attachments ?

- Object health / armor with real time visualisation damage in editor
- Able to set damage in buildings

Anyone managed to get the exhaustion part of this to work(or figure out what this means)? As far as I can tell I can still jog infinitely on depleted stamina.
True. In 1st person view font "feel" any difference when stamina is depleted, any slowdown experience.

I've complained about this a lot. There are two completely different values (mass and volume) rolled into a single numeric value. It cannot work. 1 kg of lead is much smaller than 1 kg of styrofoam. It leads to the comical situation were you put three Titan missiles into a Carryall backpack, but when you take them out there is no way in heaven or hell these things could have fit in there.
It also means you can put a ridiculous amount of M203's into a Carryall (I dunno, like, a hundred?) because their "weight" is next to nothing.
I support your post besides this information: http://www.armyrecognition.com/eurosatory_2012_show_daily_news_pictures_video/the_israeli_company_rafael_unveils_the_mini_spike_missile_electro-optical_weapon_system_1306124.html
The actual system is wrong and i don't know any game that use a more real approach to reality . They should use % above player weight (1 G - player weight aprox. 100 kg and maximum limit to 1.75G. (http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/188986/British-soldiers-suffer-injuries-from-too-heavy-weights)

- Tweaked: Adjusted stances no longer increase the aimPrecision penalty
Why?? Isn't common sense precision is related to stance and other variables (example: Biathlon - winter sport) and some adjusted stances sacrifices a "comfort" position for a better shooting.

The only complain is the great amount of sway with the bipod ative, the rest is fine so far IMO. Inertia config is another story...
